But did he really mean it or was it just for show??

Fucking hell you're a cracker right enough .

Well the guy never got a jet pack to instantly transport himself down to rugby park and get down in one knee and pledge his love to us winning the big one , but what he did do was what he said he would do if we ever won it, that was to text his beith supporting mates who he happily can share a pint with and socialise with his congratulations on winning the cup , whilst admitting that he would rather we didn't win it  that if so he would be bloody damned chuffed for his beith mates amongst our support to see our team win it eventually  .

The guy kept to his word . Is that good enough for you ? :)

Let's not forget in the middle of this debacle the fact that was a very decent performance from the Side, considering Staunton suspended,Donnelly goes off, McKinnon injured, O Byrne's first game back and Greens first game in the back 4 there was a bit of solidity at the back.Pushed back in the last 10 as you would expect away at Pollok but a very well deserved point and a good bit of team spirit shown after last week's result.

Your keeper had a couple of good saves and Anderson was the stand out player, as posted earlier in the thread (about 10 pages ago when trying to engage in conversation that isn't mud throwing).

Looks like your new guy has you playing with a pressing tempo and was working. I think tiredness maybe kicked in and when we made our changes late in the game the fresh legs helped us.

I would hereby like to apologise to Hertha, Isabel G, Dipple , Quantum etc etc as I have said in the past that they come onto threads and ruin them
All those named ( and a few others ) are normally at the fishing to see if they get a nibble, but , the antics of Lupo and FOTJ are sad more than anything
2 people who are supposed to be reasonable people if certain folk's opinions are to be believed, but, on here they have just came across as stupid weans in the playground

Apologised last night & will do so again this morning
Just not for putting up with keyboard warriors trying to bring me down . But yeah I probably should just put on ignore & get on with enjoying the good bits of this forum. Won't rise to the bait again

I've not seen much on here about the Pollok v Kilbirnie match. Surprising really - anyone want to share how their day went ...

First half ladeside bossed it with Anderson and McElroy taking the plaudits.Longmuir making 2 good saves to keep it at 0.0. Pollok number 11 went close with a couple free kicks in what was there best chances. 0.0 prob the right score line overall in first., Second half was a far tighter affair with pollok looking more likely to get the breakthrough. Anderson still bossing the midfield for me but a couple changes from pollok evened it out till gold broke down the left beating the pollok right back for pace leaving an easy pass to smith who couldn't miss from a few yards to an empty net. Ladeside sat deeper after taking the lead and pollok made numerous chances. Hughes pulling off a couple great saves before a scrappy goal slithered under him. Pollok in last few mins had a couple corners and nearly stole the points a free header at death from pollok went narrowly wide. All in all a good game with Ladeside the better team on the day. Happy to take a point from pollok away
