hearing today, that if bad weather during the week coming.game will be switched to benburb ?

As of today there are no concrete plans to move it to a specific other ground and we're going to give Lochburn every chance...if the weather's still looking sketchy over the next few days it might well be time to look at Plan B rather than let it rattle on yet another week though.

The danger is after the amount of rain we've had, the water table will be so high that even moderate further rain might put it over the edge again - I know what our preference is, but I'm also aware there's a time for sentiment and a time for pragmatism...

Heavy rain forecast for Glasgow on Saturday so presumably steps are now being made to change venue

Seriously? If the shoe was on the other foot and we were at home would you move a game based on a forecast? Get real.

It's too late to do anything re a venue change at this late stage now anyway, I'd imagine.

The forecast all week has been for dry weather Thursday through till Saturday evening - happy days - worryingly, the forecast appears to have been revised quite fundamentally over the course of the last 24 hours, with rain now forecast all night tomorrow and Saturday morning.

There's footage taken of the park yesterday up on our Twitter at the moment, and it's looking fine...the concern is that with the weather we've had over the last couple of weeks, the water table will be sufficiently high that it might just take another prolonged spell of heavy rain to put it over the edge again.

Keep an eye on our Twitter or FB page...we'll keep abreast of events as they happen. Hopefully, the forecasters might have it wrong again...

ETA - to put it in perspective how quickly things can change, the forecast has changed AGAIN since 3 o'clock this afternoon! Latest is dry on Friday night and a bit of light rain on Saturday morning. Forget our Twitter and FB - just look at BBC Weather...
