HibeeJibee
Being played off the end of the league campaign for the first time this season, like Lowland League Cup. Half the North Caledonian League have entered (not so Alness, Inverness Athletic, Orkney or Thurso). Unsurprisingly none of the SPFL sides. R1 being on April 22nd appears to confirm HL will end as its initial fixture list suggested on April 15th, leaving an empty fortnight before playoffs.First Round - Saturday 22nd April Forres Mechanics v Clachnacuddin Fort William v Lossiemouth Rothes v Wick Academy Tain St Duthus v Brora Rangers Strathspey Thistle v Nairn CountySecond Round - Saturday 29th April Fort William/Lossiemouth v Invergordon Golspie Sutherland v Rothes/Wick Halkirk United v Forres/Clachnacuddin Strathspey/Nairn v Tain/BroraSemi-Finals - Saturday 6th May Golspie/Rothes/Wick v Fort William/Lossiemouth/Invergordon Strathspey/Nairn/Tain/Brora v Halkirk/Forres/ClachnacuddinFinal - Saturday 20th May
AsimButtHitsASix
Why would the rest of the NCL not enter? I presume this starts after their league has finished up for the season?
HibeeJibee
I say entered: few of them are actually NSFA members, IIRC, and invites are handed-out. Maybe only so many invites are granted, I don't know. Rothes v Wick now Saturday coming.
