Bannockburn with the better of the 1st half without really troubling the Douglas goal until a free kick was wipped into the box and the douglas CH and goalkeeper hesitated who was going to the ball and both left it and it bounced between both them and flew into the corner at the back post... 2nd half douglas came flying out the traps causing bannockburn alot probs.couple opportunitys cleared off the line and alot balls into the box.... douglas were denied a STONE WALL penalty when there winger got behind the left back and was clearly clipped when thru on goal.bannockburn broke away under alot of pressure, there striker got thru on goal n hit a shot whick douglas keeper saved but hit off his own player n it fell bk into path of the bannockburn player who had an empty net. Douglas replied straight away to make it 2-1 and from there on looked like they would get an equaliser until a moment of madness frn there keeper. He came out to collect a ball . instead of kickn it up the park who kicked a bannockburn player in the face who slid in for a tackle wa him. he was sent off bannockburn got a pen which they converted.. Final 3-1 From a neutral view. Douglas deserved something from the game. Had fuckall to do wa Kenneth. 1st goal was a wind assisted cross that flew into the corner and the 2nd was a deflection of our defender after the keeper saved it. 3rd a penatly.
