10menwent2mow
Slight miscount on my part then. I thought the way the fixtures worked we were home and dry.
BucksburnDandy
For @topcat(The most tip top) or any other poster. How many games do Aberdeen need to win to deny Celtic and the Scottish media dream of clinching the title v Sevco at Parkhead? Not that I'm all that bothered but it would be very enjoyable if we could deny the Glasgow media their dream ending.

You need to win two out of your next three: Ross County (H), Hamilton (A), Motherwell (H) The physical safety of hundreds of Glaswegian wives depends on you

Fingers crossed we do the business and deny it to them. Last two seasons Celtic have won it by virtue of us losing at Tannadice and then won it v us at Celtic Park so it would be nice not to be involved this time. That and the poor, long suffering wives of Sevconians avoiding a beating. Probably all named Senga.

You entertain Hearts in the early kick off the following Saturday Edited February 21, 2017 by topcat(The most tip top)
irvine_buddie
Aberdeen are 24 points behind with 30 up for grabs by the time Old Firm game is over. Assuming Celtic win all the games until the Old Firm game, Aberdeen would need to lose 2 and draw one of their next 3 for Celtic to clinch it against Rangers. Also Rangers would need to at least draw 1 of their next 2 before playing Celtic.

Also I think using entertain in the same context as Aberdeen v Hearts is an inaccurate description. We slug it out v Hearts in a shitfest from both teams the following Saturday!

There will be 30 points to play for after the Celtic vs Rangers game Celtic probably won't officially win the league that day but Rangers will probably officially lose it

topcat(The most tip top)
Anything other than a win at Parkhead tomorrow will mean Rangers can no longer catch Celtic The good news for the teddy bears though is that Hearts defeat of Hamilton means that the Accies can no longer catch Rangers.Rangers are staying up
PauloPerth
Away from the drama of this season's exciting title race, is there a comprehensive list (as in top 50 or 100) of top scorers for the premiership/ spl? The other week Kris Doolan scored his 41st league goal and Richard Gordon said he moves upto 9th in the all-time list, so was just wondering...
