Benidorm
Mozza away? He was their only fan ffs. It was a stack of cards waiting to tumble as others have said. As soon as the novelty factor of seeing the clown show with Si and Slaney wore off, without promotion or getting close to it and having something to market on going forward it was always going to be on a very shaky peg. Can't see anything other than going bust. Nae fans, nae ground, nae infrastructure, nae backers. f**k all. Its real competitive for the Old Firm diddy team coin now. Colt teams, womens teams, podcasts, all the various ex juniors who lean one way or the other. That pie just keeps getting cut thinner and thinner, its over saturated. Can't see him and his drinking buddies ending up back at Peterhead, 11th in the LL currently, they're miles off even competing in L2 where Peterhead will likely end up and they've just turfed out another documentary w****r. Darvel seems a good fit for Ferry. Another media darling vanity project and he'll feel at home with the part-time old firm fans who will lap up the journey and a squad of neds who'd rather be on a stag doo than try and play for promotion. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

Number seven
Ferry off to Darvel?
LongTimeLurker
Twitter seems to know what I'll be interested in: Hopefully the beginning of the end for this nomadic bunch of chancers. Without the Open Goal crowd they'll be back to friends and family of the players again with no BSC Glasgow angle to help fund it.
Connor7
Darvel more or less out of the title race. What do they do next? Bring Ferry on board to chuck even more money at it next season.
gretnascotty
Was at the game at Raydale on Saturday and but for 2 glaring errors from the Gretna Keeper we would have beaten them, and Gretna have been shite in 2023. Was stood close to the OG dugout and was amazed how petulant Ferry was, Lyle looked more like the manager, Slaney was in the stand with the hood up, when he walked along past us just before HT a fan approached him maybe ever so slightly too enthusiastic and was met by Slaney telling him to get the f**k out of his face. After the FT whistle the whole management team were gone in cars mere minutes after the game, didn’t stop for the post match refreshment’s whatsoever. Quite surprised how unprofessional both Si and Slaney came across, very much big time Charlies, now this announcement today, clearly not working out and rather than work through things, its down tools and leave the club in the lurch. Poor from all involved!

Only a couple of players turned up to post match hospitality.

HorseyGhirl
I blame TJ for all of the crap in non league football. If only the juniors had been there at the beginning. The crap that inhabits LL land would never have got started. It would be a mix of relegated league clubs and the best of East and West Juniors not in league set up as yet. It would have it's own tv channel, the junior cup would be 2nd only to the Big Scottish and so on. I've always been a dreamer.
Staggie_93
Who knew a football team with “Slaney” on the coaching team could end so badly

Likes of BSC/Broomhill get lumped in with the original 12 teams. Except they didn't start until the 2nd season. The vacuum of disinterest provided an opening for those that were. Some of the clubs would still have come into existence, just from a similar WoSFL 4th Division type beginning.
Aidan
I actually quite like Si Ferry, spoke to him quite a few times at games between Peterhead and Montrose and he always seemed decent enough and also quite enjoyed the earlier 1 to 1 interviews he was doing with the podcast. Was very predictable that the Broomhill thing would go the way it has though, the league position in itself is hardly a disaster but the vanity project it was intended to be has clearly failed. Hopefully now he makes the decision between either being a coach or a media personality and doesn’t try to combine the 2 as that almost definitely will not work.
