Never said he should,

But you can’t be taking the job that seriously if your podcast is your main priority

That’s not criticism, that’s just the reality of the situation

Not sure how having the podcast as a job means he can't be taking the management job seriously? When he's on the training field coaching do you think the podcast is at all in his thinking?

You only have to look at the squad assembled and the way Ferry talks about the game that the football side is no joke to him.

The naming rights for clubs usually aren't for sale because sponsorships don't last. If it's a sponsorship agreement that makes the name change temporary. The SFA never should have sanctioned the name change.

Why shouldn’t they be for sale? It’s commonplace in European football.

Probably more for the coaching aspect of it, will also be some content for them with the documentary they made.

You seem to have a bee in your bonnet about it.

Not at all.

I just don’t see it as a serious club and it shouldn’t be treated like one.

Paul Slane is a joke signing, as in he’s been signed for the novelty factor not because a he believes he can help improve the squad

At least the Open Goal fans won't be pulling out their phones in the 67th min to get the flash on.

Broom Brigade has a nice ring to it though.

No argument I take it? Cause that’s a piss poor attempt to trying to make a comparison

When you say open goal fans, do you mean the podcast fans or the club fans?

As I have said previously, folk like you will put it down cause they are doing something totally different. They are trying to garner interest in the lower leagues and I'm all for that.

I don't know what more you want me to add?

They’re not doing something totally different

Lets just not pretend they’re a serious club and should be treated as such

It’s a Micky Mouse outfit

Okay, must have missed all these clubs popping up. How many other podcasts have taken over a lower league football club? In the words of the famous Supras...

Be extremely specific

Why should I promote your sponsor for free? The SFA, Lowland League, SCC, every club they play are now openly promoting another club's sponsor.

Happens in Europe, and around the World. Doesn't make it common. Probably it's more commonly banned and some of the examples people would use at a glance are old works teams grandfathered in compared to modern day sponsorships.

Surpas?

Novelty clubs are not a new thing, they’ve existed elsewhere across the UK

Do you genuinely believe Open Goal Broomhill FC is anything different?

Its a joke club in what has become a joke league.

How many sponsors are an integral part of the club badge?

Just having a quick google and it seems that TNS, PSV, Deportivo and Bayer Leverkusen. You also have the obvious one I forgot to mention of Vauxhall Motors FC.

He asked for examples and I gave them, I have provided more as well if you want to pick holes in them too?

Again I will ask, how many podcasts have taken over a football club since you said there were so many?

Clubs that had been founded as company teams and not taken over by one and rebranded to promote the organisations

Bit of straw clutching to here.

It’s not really much of a challenge to poke holes in your arguments to be fair

I said novelty clubs, you’re being disingenuous here trying to make it out they’re something new and different because it’s a podcast club
