Top of the League Hibernian v Play off hopefuls Dundee Utd

The reality is we should have just totally shitfested that game. Gone 451, doubled up on Boyle and Humphries. Tonight was the first big blunder by McKinnon tactically.

Fans giving Dixon a horrendous time, yeah he had a shocker but would inexperienced, lightweight (and not that quick) Robson have done much better against Humphries? Similarly with Toshney, Dillon would have been ripped apart too. McKinnon didn't protect his exposed fullbacks by playing a narrow sitting midfield (that didn't once impose themselves on the game).

Van der Velden had a nightmare but again the tactics meant he was asked to do a job he simply cannot. Andreu was the only minor bright spark in a terrible performance and it is frightening how much we rely on him.

Dillon would have done better against Boyle. Absolutely.

The second half was actually worse than the first. It looked a little like we were beginning to get possession of the ball but essentially what happened was Hibs sat back ready to break and said "c'mon then, have a go", we didn't even manage that. Even when Hibs were allowing us to move forward we couldn't even string enough movement together to force the issue.

Lennon never said that.

Hibs weren't 2-0 up in 14 minutes.

There's no need to lie.

He most certainly DID say he altered the team set-up (playback will confirm)....as regards the exact timing of the second goal..apologies if my timing was out but that's being a tad pedantic don't you think?

Lenny kens the plan 8) tactically out done today. Pleasing that we've still got McGinn to come back into the starting eleven, with Fyvie and Marciano in net.
