Cba summarising that shite.

Well deserved win for Aberdeen, almost criminal that they didn't actually win by more - read us like a laptop after about 2 minutes and pushed us right up the park.

Hopefully get rid of the shitebags in our team in the transfer window and bring in a bit of backbone.

<<< seething mess

The winter break has come at a good time for Cathro, it looks like. He really needs to stamp an identity on that team. Say what you like about Neilson but his team knew how they were supposed to play. This version of Hearts seems to be trying to play a certain brand of football without having the personnel to carry it off. Walker is obviously going to thrive when the ball is on the deck, but having a central midfield with Kitchen and Nowak, both very defensive players, slows down any attack and takes out creativity. One would probably suffice, dropping deep to pick up the ball and play it out to the creative players further up the park.
With both in the side you need to use a more physical style, using their presence to batter the ball up the park, where you've got an ideal target man, and could have good attackers running off him in Walker and Djoum.
As it transpired neither happened and we were able to dominate a midfield bereft of presence and skill. Get the ball up top and we'll score at least once a game. Hearts have pretty good defenders in Rossi and Souttar so I'm not going to harp on about more goals. Both would probably get in our squad, and they do well in the penalty box.
Love that video posted above of the scenes. Haven't had an Edinburgh away day in yonks.

Good win for us, felt we controlled the game for large periods. Looking good going into the new year.

As for Cathro, the break may serve him well and I still think he will be a good appointment for them. Also f**k Boyd the fat b*****d
