tonup9
Our new signings will provide the extra impetus for the coming fixtures and it's only a matter of time before we catch those above us. What s total trumpet [emoji23]

Gert.T.Fock
We will come good once the new boys gel, some only had a few days training before the game... We don't have too long for them to gel but we'll still beat Dumbarton on Saturday.

St Mirren have been good at beating Dumbarton over the last 2 seasons, right enough. St Mirren's only victory coming in a game where Dumbarton fielded a 4-6-0 and had an overweight Jordan Kirkpatrick as the furthest advanced player. But you guys have been in good form recently, narrowly losing to Falkirk whilst we were only able to hand Raith their arse on a plate, so your optimism is probably well placed. They're 11 points ahead and will pick up more. Ayr don't look up to much though and could be going into the final few months with 1 striker in their squad. Wouldn't be surprised if you got past them. I said last week if Ayr have somehow magically beat you that was us finished and still think the same they get 3 points more on us its all over. still struggle to see how we'll pull 7 points back to be fair. Dumbarton are flying and we some how have this misplaced confidence that we'll win on Saturday. Against a team that continually has beaten us recently. Ton in Shawlands
Still can'?, give it three or five years & someone will bump this thread back up to say I told you so, in the meantime, for this season, only Ayr, or possibly, who knows, Raith (joking, sort of) at this rate, can help them avoid the trapdoor. TheMessiah
Ayr, Dumbarton and Dunfermline are currently a combined 31 points ahead of St Mirren Greenock Morton have almost treble their points tally We have exactly double Dumbarton have almost double And Ayr have St Mirren's points tally times one and a half It looks like we're doing a good job of running tbh.
