Superb result. First half was pretty guff from us and I was just waiting on Raith getting a goal.

When they scored that offside goal, the linseman took ages to put the flag up. There were three men miles offside and he was panicking as to what decision to make ????

Second half started with Raith right at us but we settled and grew into the game. Nicky Clark missed two absolutely golden chances that he should have buried. The second goal was a bit of a fluke but they all count and it really killed the game. Joe Cardle could have got a goal as well if it wasn't for Cuthbert being a great goalie tbh.

A deserved three points and hopefully we can start looking up the league now.

Were they enforcing the allocated seating in the home end as well? From a security point of view I do get it, but it kills the atmosphere.

Allocated seats, yep, killed any chance of atmosphere, mind you, it didn't stop Pars fans singing loudly tho.

When the team was announced it was obvious it was business as usual. Ok up to 25yards from goal then fucking hopeless. How can you stand by Skacel who has scored zero and a second striker who hasn't scored since October. Corners were continually powder puff and far too close to the keeper. Pars keeper didn't have to get dirty and never made a Save. They should have been out of sight inside 15 mins.

First 10 mins Dunfermline were all over us like a rash after a superb save from Cuthbert they deservedly scored albeit by poor Rovers marking at the corner most of the rest of the half we had most of the ball but created he haw and Dunfermline defence looked comfortable. 2nd half was even worse from a Rovers perspective no final ball, no shots on goal, very poor set piece delivery, no tactics, no passion and a clueless manager who thinks bringing on Ryan Stevenson will change things he looks more like a pub doorman who has had to much Turkey for Christmas we have young Yaw Osie !,fair enough he's a young lad lacking experience but come on why waste the little cash we have on the likes of that . Dunfermline had everything we didn't ! passion, the will to win , tactics, a game plan, better players on the day, hats off we were well beaten and a well deserved win for the Pars .

Awful game and result today, absolutely no drive or skill from us. Dunfermline were hungrier from the outset and grew into it. They were even so kind as to let us know what their corner routine was not once but twice but before scoring with it at the third attempt, we didn't have a defender within three yards of Clark as he just nodded it in with complete ease. We were actually the better team after that until half time without actually ever creating anything. Every time we got within shooting distance we were closed down or the shot was blocked or deflected away. Cuthbert really saved our blushes with a few great stops, the one in the first half from a header from point blank range was McGurn-esque. The only real "chance" I can remember for us was towards the end of the first half when Johnston drove in from the right and the ball bounced over via the top of the bar after a bit of a melee.

It obviously goes without saying but Thomson is no where near match fit, his biggest asset is his ability to get beyond his winger and to the by-line. Did he do it at all today? Persevering with McManus up front on his own is really beginning to get on my fucking tits. What's that, 1 goal in 15 starts? He's got nae confidence left and is being hung out to dry by Locke, give him a break for f**k sake. Skacel is so far off the pace its almost embarrassing, he doesn't influence the game in any way. If only there was some kind of way we could end his contract and just cut our losses with him, he's been a terrible signing. Still, as long as he can do his appearance in hospitality against Hearts then it'll all be fine...

Second Pars goal looked like it just hit Ashcroft's shin and trundled into the bottom corner. Fully deserved victory and Locke needs to seriously buck up his ideas. How big is our squad now? No Vaughan or Matthews in the squad at all. At least his old pal Steveo wasn't without a club for long.

No wins in seven. Two goals in seven games.
