Alert Mongoose
All because a wee diddy team got a result the toys got thrown out the prams, which is quite a lot in Dundee.
Granny Danger
Forecast for tomorrow is wet and windy, though the wind is meant to die down as the afternoon goes on. Hopefully this will not impact too badly on those passages of silky play that are most likely to lead to our goal(s). Anyone know the latest on Durnan? ArabianKnight
Dillon at RB, Toshney at CB if Durnan is still out please. Good time to see Toshney in his apparently best position.

Even at the start of the season before The Edge was brought in and our defence was a shambles McKinnon was unwilling to play Toshney at CB. I honestly don't know the reason for this. Dundee Hibernian
Durnan has trained the last three days, including this. But Toshney instead of Donaldson would be fine.
sonsanorak
Half one ko in case anyone missed it.With stanton back and stirling out, I'd play the same team as falkirk but with todd in for stirling.Robbie T, gaz and a late sparky pen with sons winning 2-
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Stanton apparently fit/available for selection with Stirling suspended.I'd imagine Stanton will come straight in, if he's actually available, with himself or Todd shunted out wide to cover. Toshney made his first start at centre half and played about five minutes before getting a broken nose. Presumably he was moved to rb to avoid getting a further bang on the schnozz. Anyway, Durnan will be fine, I expect.
squeezeboxson
I can only assume Durnan has improved since the last time we met at the rock? He was an absolute shambles that day. More of the same would do tomorrow please...

lionel wickson
Yes, he quit us a couple of days before playing for us against Ayr last Saturday, according to the Daily Record.

Partly down to confidence, partly playing in a settled defence and partly due to playing alongside an experienced partner. He's still quite raw but he now does the simple things well and has cut out the silly stuff.

Scottylintonstowel
Just checking back and noticed the first time I saw Dundee United was on 9th Sep 1959. Sons won that game 3-2 but United went on to second place and promotion from division two whilst Sons finished in sixth place. I think both teams would be happy with similar positions this season. Granny Danger
No longer going down to this as my son has the flu and I can't be arsed going down on my own. Two gratis tickets for anyone who can pick them up in the next 40 minutes or so.
Silverton End
Lovely & windy here in Dumbarton, with rain forecast, should make for an entertaining game of hoofball.
