Listen it's not rocket science.

Troon didn't request a game.
Troon game with Beith was cancelled.

That left the fixture man with an easy decision pair up two of the three teams out of Beith Kilwinning and Arthurlie, two of the teams who requested a game those two being Beith and Kilwinning.

Beith have already played Kilwinning away so had to be at Beith at home.

Now it comes out Beith requested an away game?? If so the man was in a no win situation given the clubs who requested fixtures on the 24th.

Maybe not rocket science but not far off nuclear physics!

Sounds as though troon never wanted a game and were under no obligation to play a game on the 24th to 26th so why release a fixture with them involved in the first place.

Also, why were arthurlie in the equation as the fourth team if they didn't request a fixture.

Why not keep it simple from the start and organise beith V kilwinning and give the teams that didn't want to play the week off instead of creating a clusterf##k of a fixture shambles yet again!

No doubt someone will correct me, but I am led to believe that Arthurlie requested a fixture on the 24th.

Yes they did, as did troon but they then e-mailed the sjfa and withdrew their request.

Hence why he put those fixtures out.

Heard it was a bit dangerous in parts of the park. Wee spat between Miller n Strainy

Kilwinning never wanted the game on from the get go due to players suspensions and injuries etc ... The park was vertidrained from 8am till at least 10:30 with a few showers in between.

Refs need to stop being interrupted in their inspections, a few wee one liners chucked in of "what happens if my player gets injured etc etc " and it's game off as the poor ref is in a lose lose situation as if a player does get injured then it's chucked in his face .

Football is going soft .
