The colts idea has to be binned but it looks like they want to push it through one way or another, the clubs want to stick with the development loans but these morons seem intent on having colt teams in the league.
Cowden Cowboy
The CWG puts forward proposals or outline ideas for clubs or groups of clubs to consider. Their reps at the relevant meetings report back the views of those consulted to the CWG - that's all that has happened.

Edit Warren hawkes own club even put out a reserve team in the Challenge Cup even though he chairs the group that came up with the changes to it. Why do we need to have the Old Firm youth representatives in there? Neither Rangers Academy nor Celtic Academy have a team in the senior league system, nor are they on the board of the SPFL. I can think of no reason at all why they are represented to the same degree as actual football clubs Morton, Stenhousemuir and Stranraer. Spoiler This is a rhetorical question, we all know why they're there.
Cowden Cowboy
The CWG has over 20 members - neither Craig Mulholland nor Chris McCart are members. Warren Hawke is chairman, Iain Dougan is vice chairman

This is just an idea that has been put before the committee...no actual proposal has been made...no opinion either way until the options have been discussed...no evidence to suggest Celtic and Rangers have anything other than the general good of the game at heart...the clubs will consideration their options...fans must accept that we live in the real world... Can you shed any light on why a proposal that has categorically been shot down at least twice before has surfaced yet again?Surely the message that this is as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit is loud and clear by now.

You can certainly add Hawke to the walloper list but that Challenge Cup claim is a bizarre non-sequitur: Ray McKinnon made that decision as manager, it wasn’t dictated to him by the chief executive.

Guest The Phoenix
As previously stated McCart & Mulholland are not members of the CWG. The CWG is the appropriate Forum to discuss the Colts proposal. In no way shape or form does that mean the membership is supportive of it, A personal view? Colts Teams will never start life within the SPFL structure.

Anyone see The Greatest Fans In The World™ on the news last night, bidding a fond farewell to the most successful manager in their recent history? Basically it amounted to hoping the IRA shoot him while he's asleep. Just one more reason why this cesspit of a club should be shut down.

Bairnardo
https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/taboo-subject-means-celtic-rangers-14438402 The Record and Waddell have another go."Why can’t the Old Firm do an Ajax? It’s a question that resonated around Scottish football last week" Is it aye? This is pandering at its best. Dutch football is different from Scottish football in almost every conceivable way from the first time a child kicks a ball, in ways that would take generations to replicate. Ajax have long had a reputation for being able to do exactly what they are currently doing and indeed have produced other such golden generations including a pretty notable team in the 90s. Dutch football at an international level has pissed all over us since time began and this suggests that its not just Ajax carrying the nation alone. But no.... Lets latch onto nothing about their football culture except a plan to increase the arse cheeks stranglehold over Scottish football. This isnt the first or last time iv felt a tinge of shame that Waddell calls himself a Falkirk fan. Thankfully its obvious to most what he really is. Which is why he works where he does. f**k off Gordon

Just what Scottish football needs - religious bigotry at the bottom as well as the top. Don't spoil football for those that believe supporting your local team is more important than any perceived religious beliefs you have.
