I said weeks ago this would happen. Its unsurprising. Shite behaviour from a shite club.

While the SPFL stand back watching a few of  those League 1 and 2 clubs struggle for existence .

Scottish football is pathetic sometimes.

Seems to be confirmed Rangers are planning on going around League One/Two sides again, offering financial incentives if they accept plans to have their Colts inserted into the leagues.

Genuinely struggling to believe even that vile club would try and capitalise on this situation.

Hopefully the united response will be, why don't you pay HMRC the millions you owe them and have it invested in the NHS.

Scotland hasn't qualified for a major tournament since the creation of the greed is good SPL in 1998, coincidence or is still the fault of lower division Luddites?.

I thought it was all my old man's fault for taking part in the teachers' strike in the 1980s.

The same argument will be trotted out in 20 years time when we fail to qualify yet again "it was that covid thing that shut schools for 6 months is the reason we're shite"

Hibs had a Colts team in the EOSL for a couple of seasons a few years ago. I don't think Hawick and Eyemouth saw thousands of Hibees flock to their grounds although there was a wee bit of money made flogging programmes to mad Hibs collectors.

The wallopers couldn't support the last initiative to bring on young kids (being forced to play them in every SPL game) and have abandoned a reserve league. We bend over backwards every time something's suggested to help them; the Irn Bru Cup has matches anywhere but at their home grounds, such is their contempt.  Into the sea with it.

The Rangers head of youth interviewed in the Sunday Herald today.

Thanks.

Cash incentives won’t change opinion, even at this time.

I wonder how they and the SPFL will manage to turn this one into an  armageddon situation ?

Member Clubs make decisions, not the SPFL. 👍

Rangers know that Clubs are cash starved and vulnerable so going about offering money is a typical ploy to try and get their way.

any 2nd Div club taking their tainted money should be named and shamed.

and if it does come to pass, the fans  against this of all Clubs should co-ordinate demonstrations at each fixture and give them dogs abuse. Not nice giving young kids pelters but it’s the shirt and the Club that merits the abuse and hopefully they will then withdraw in the face of continued barracking of their young players.

sometimes you have fight dirty unfortunately
