Arbroath vs Elgin City

Recommended Posts

Massive game for us, if we could go into the Christmas/New Year period sitting second I'd be pretty chuffed. Elgin have goals in them and keeping Sutherland and Gunn quiet will be quite the task, hopefully Ricky and Hammy play as well as we know they can.

We always seem to struggle against elgin. A draw wouldnt be a bad result for either team. Phillips in for sukar would be the only change for me but cant see it happening

Gunny has only played as a sub in the last half dozen or so games. There are others you need to worry about! Bit more research required mate.

Even then, he always seems to score against us.

IMO we have to start winning these kind of games. We have already had too many draws.

Phillips in for Suker and Jimmy Scott dropped please. I'd be happy with Skelly either on the wing or playing off Doris.

Same team as yesterday, sukur doing away fine and thought skelly did well out wide.

huge game, if we can win then that would be 12 points out of 12 against Forfar and Elgin, expecting a tough game though.

Same team for me too. Elgin seem really hot and cold and have been dishing out some pumpings but usually against teams in the bottom half.

Hammy and Little to keep Sutherland quiet hopefully and McCord and Whatley to run the midfield over Bri Cameron.

I really dislike playing Elgin always seem to be tough battles.

A win would be absolutely superb. Would be great going 1 ahead into 2nd place with 2 games in hand over them. Maybe just 1 off Forfar too

You are correct there. Feast or famine with us. We have been absolutely brilliant at times but no wins over a top four side. Good time to start on Sat in our last game of 2016

After winning the league against Montrose (that's a sentence worth repeating), I don't think that the games at Annan (lost 0-3) and Elgin (lost 3-5) can really be considered anything more than part of the lap of honour.

Only change I'd go for would be Phillips in for Scott. Have Phillips playing down the left (his natural position I think) & move Skelly in the middle with Stevie D.

I think that would be a good option. Skelly likes a goal against Elgin.
