Utterly fed up with today's performance.

As soon as Utd went down to 10 men there was only ever going to be 2 team that would win ano that was Utd.

We lost all composure, stopped passing g and treated the ball like a hot potato. Utter nonsense. The players need a long hard look at their ability to manage the game situation and keep focused.

It was the same story against hibs.

We won't score if we keep playing strikers who can't score. Not sure how bad mcmanus has to get before being dropped.

Thought the second yellow for Toshney looked very soft and was surprised to get the penalty as the ref had gave us very little up to that point. Thought Andreu made it far too obvious he was looking for the same spot as the penalty against hibs. Tope shite again.

Can only agree with this. Our approach after the red card was pathetic, Locke should have a real go at the players for that. As a manager he takes criticism when things don't go well but in that situation it's his players letting him down. They were playing well and suddenly stopped doing all the good things they were doing.

One goal in five games. Two goals in six. Not hard to see where our problems lie.

Still, McManus might score next week, right Gary?

We should've really won today. Incredible amount of chances and corners but little end product. Bell didn't ever really make a save that wasn't completely comfortable.

Toshney getting himself sent off was incredibly pleasing. He was a ticking time bomb from the second he got his first (stupid) booking for a late, daft challenge on Benedictus. When was the last time we saved a penalty? It was a good one as well, low to his right. Would've taken a point before the game but a bit frustrated having had such a great chance to win it.

Should've won that. Both of Toshney's bookings were beyond idiotic. If we'd just managed to get Tope off before the red I'm sure we'd have gone on to win, he should've been hooked at half time and told to start walking home.

One goal since the clocks went back for the wee team. Good effort to still be picking up points.

Aye. Only one defeat since the clocks went back. Every cloud and all that.

Anyway we're saving all the goals for 2 weeks on Monday anyway.

Like McManus has said we're due to put 4 or 5 past someone one of these weeks despite not being able to put 1 past anybody at the minute.

Very few plus marks for us today. The central pairing and keeper were excellent as usual. We seem so solid in there just now with big Willie and Durnan winning almost everything that comes forward. With Bell behind them, we are becoming very difficult to break through

I was really surprised at McKinnon's assistant getting himself sent off for moaning about Toshney's red card. As soon as the ref blows for that foul, it's a yellow card all day long. Truly idiotic when on a yellow. I think anyone involved with the Rovers last season would tell you Benedictus and Toshney are great centre backs at this level, but a gormless pair. With Bene's red card against Ayr and Toshney's today, hard to argue. A very pleasing couple of minutes, but sadly it was all downhill from there.

Some encouraging signs but we just can't score goals. A small part of it is down to luck (M'Voto & Callachan winning close-range headers that landed in the keepers arms, Skacel hitting the bar) but for the most part there's little composure or thought in th final third, and when the wingers do get in behind McManus is just nowhere to be seen. Vaughan nearly got on the end of a couple of late crosses with runs into the six-yard box that McManus just never makes.

Great save from Cuthbert, don't remember him saving a penalty for us.

Unless we make a couple of decent signings in January and clear out the dead wood, I really can't see us finishing in the top 4. Hope to be wrong.
