JamieThomas
Wee Grievesy shaking and sobbing at his typewriter (not laptop, they're for nerds), stopping only to blow his nose and gaze adoringly at his framed A2 Boydy poster thinking "I'll not let them say these nasty things about you, Boydy. I won't, I won't, I won't!"

Turbo_dee
That is genuinely one of the worst things I've ever read. Fucking hell, he's the 'chief football writer'. Sports journalism in this country really is an absolute joke.
jessmagic
Scottish football - closed shop, jobs for boys, jobs for former "old firm" players, toadying journalists, fear of change, fear of technology, Billy Brown, Coisty.... SHAMBOLIC no wonder, no tournaments for so long.

Carl Cort's Hamstring
I can only assume Fullarton and Boyd don't watch too much German football. Hoffenheim, 5th in the league and managed by a 29 year old who never played a senior league game and until last season was a youth team coach. Louis Litt
At least he's put a compelling argument forward alongside all the snide remarks in that article. Otherwise, he'd just be coming across as another bitter fud.
Ron Aldo
Am I missing something? What has Cathro supposed to have said or done to make some of those in the media loathe him so much?
Ludo*1
Am I missing something? What has Cathro supposed to have said or done to make some of those in the media loathe him so much? He's just not the most approachable of guys. He had that reputation when he was a United coach. He's a bit awkward around people and well, that's it really. He clearly can't be a manager because he's not the most outgoing person in the world.

DavieCFC
Why the f**k anybody would want to get or read Boyd's opinion on a managerial appointment is beyond me.
RussellAnderson
It's because he's skipping the queue to the management gravy train that the ex-pros want to be on. He's never cleaned the boots of Stevie Fulton at Killie as an apprentice so he can't tell others to do it.
