Sherrif John Bunnell
I started up San Andreas since it is on Game Pass and it is clear from the opening cutscene that Rockstar have put in the minimum amount of effort into these remasters. I'd be seething if I'd paid full price for these games.

I'd be seething if I'd paid full price for these games.Under the hood it's pretty much the mobile ports from 2012 with shiner graphics & unreal engine added as a renderer. There are some mechanics/gameplay tweaks but that doesn't distract from how half arsed the whole thing is. The whole thing stinks even more when you remember the original versions of the games were pulled from digital store fronts recently.
WeAreElgin
Mass Effect legendary edition is a remaster done well. Battered through ME1 as quickly as possible as it hasn't aged exceptionally well, but ME2 is still an absolute delight.
well fan for life
I am very, very glad I opted against ordering the GTA trilogy. Hopefully it's slashed in price in a years time then I can pick it up for some nostalgia.

I was really looking forward to it, but was happy to wait until I get a physical copy on the 7th December. But I highly doubt I’ll be getting it even then.
Loki
I bought it and it’s a disaster. It crashes constantly and it’s unplayable. I got to a certain mission and it just dies each time. I used an older save game and played through to the same mission and it crashes again. 55 quid on a game that doesn’t even work, at least if I bought a physical copy you could take it back to the shop. Waiting on both Rockstar and PlayStation store getting back to me. I would strongly recommend not buying it at all.
MuckleMoo
Was really enjoying my time with Forza Horizon 5 when Microsoft dropped Halo Infinite MP a month earlier than expected. Forza now on the back burner. 343 Industries have really nailed this one. Appreciate Halo isn't everyone's cup of tea but if you're a fan of the series this one is right up there
#Gary
Halo is tremendous. The progression system, however, is w**k.
NotThePars
Max Payne trilogy, Timesplitters 1 & 2, 50 cent's game, Nier and a whole host of other games been made backwards compatible for 20 years of the Xbox.
forameus
Max Payne 2 is an absolute cracker. I remember playing the demo what felt like hundreds of times because it was the first I'd played with proper physics. Remember being properly amazed that you shot a can and it rolled away. Remember 3 being not quite as strong but still fairly enjoyable.

Nkomo-A-Gogo
My 8yo son wants a gaming chair. Does anyone use one here? I had it in my mind that they were like bean bags with speakers but the ones i see online look like office chairs. Any recommendations would be great.

Not even a fully fledged game, no guarantee of one either. Cyberpunk doesn’t run off of UE5.

No, I meant that the fake game they made up looks like a rip of Cyberpunk 2077, right down to the tedious rail shooting and empty, dead city. As you say, the actual games won't look anything like that, but there'll likely be plenty more cookie-cutter open world titles where all the effort has gone into the set dressing, without much thought about how to make it fun or interesting.
