TheGothClock
Across the board attendance is falling at junior games, the 'Dale used to attract massive home gates, that's reduced in line with most junior clubs, the only team in SJF to buck that trend is Bathgate, naebody went to their games years gone by and that remains the case today, there Av gate of 23 has stood season after season from 1954

nugget man
The town of Armadale has grown a fair bit in the last 10-15 years, there should be potential for growth but you need to ask people what would make them attend games etc, don't just ask 10 or 15 people but hundreds to get a clear picture and develop a strategy. i noticed the community club in armadale did sampling for their continued argument for a future facility, its on their website the juniors could do something similar to help build up numbers at games?

daleboy
What about a player manager somebody still involved at a higher level and a dale man.
Falside Jag
It seems to have taken a long time to get the new manager in place. Perhaps after the Tranent result there didn't seem to be a rush, moreso with the lucky win against us (relax, it's only banter). Surely the announcement must be imminent now though.
daleboy1969
The club have been patient and went thru all applications with an open minded approach, desperate to make right decision. the players should be applauded for playing on and playing well . the serious injury to the dale keeper on Saturday has put things back a few days but the club hope to finish interviews this week, with the new manager appointed shortly after.

pie n beans
I don't really see why an injury to a player would hold up the naming of the new manager, maybe the committee can't agree on who to appoint.
