The Official Former President Trump thread

The huge MAGA crowds on the streets protesting about the shutdown should be a good indicator how serious the virus really is. If they’re all dropping like flys in a few weeks we’ll know we’re doing the right thing. The opposite might end our shutdown.

Alternatively, it’s only because of the lockdown that those imbeciles can run about with their toys and not be at immediate risk of getting infected. The fact that some people are now safe is not evidence that the shutdown was erroneous.

I don’t think Nancy Pelosi eating ice cream in a series of badly edited cutaways is going to have as much effect as you think. I’m not quite sure what that segment came from - the video itself doesn’t make it clear - but it’s chock full of misinformation, particularly regarding the Democrats blocking funding for the rust belt Honey Boo Boos.

At some point, facts do matter. Even in America.

Nancy Pelosi choosing to be interviewed in front of $25,000 worth of fridges talking about how much she loves luxury ice cream while there are bread queues in America is hopefully a Marie Antoinette moment for this era.

The corporate Dems are that hopeless they are being outflanked from the left by the GOP. It's the same kind of positioning that the People's Vote ghouls employed to get absolutely destroyed at the GE.

Looked like a shmoozy non political piece for daytime tv, what the famous keep in their fridge. You can stitch anyone up editing unrelated footage together. Oh my god she has lots of ice cream, she doesn't care about people starving!

P.S. She likes chocolate and ice cream shocker. And she's got a big fridge.

She is supposed to be the leader of the opposition to the GOP. It's the equivalent of Keir Starmer posting selfies from his garden sunbathing with a rum daqiri in hand.

That she chose to broadcast her affluence when unemployment is going through the roof and Dem voters are struggling to put food on the table is mind blowing. It's the Bullingdon Club burning money in front of a homeless person on a national level.

It’s fucking ice cream.  In a fridge.  Nobody will give a shite one way or the other.  RT might have a field day.  That’s about it.  And, lest we forget...

The advert is to keep the more extreme Sanders voters fuming at the Democrat establishment.

Its bread and butter dull so far as US political attack adds go. And this far out its not going to stick in most peoples minds, but so close to their boy losing, it keeps the fires burning for a certain mind set.

A study done by the University of Arizona found an average of 421,000 different bacteria on shoes. Coliforms, a bacterial indicator of the level of sanitation of foods and water (and universally present in feces), were detected on the bottoms of 96% of shoes.

In addition, E. coli was detected on 27% of the shoes, along with seven other kinds of bacteria, including Klebsiella pneumoniae, which can cause urinary tract infection, and Serratia ficaria, which can cause respiratory infections.

“We walk through things like bird droppings, dog waste and germs on public restroom floors, all of which are sources for E coli,” says Kelly Reynolds, Ph.D., a microbiologist and professor at the University of Arizona.

eta    they probably never walk outside or visit public restrooms...

US government data (up to 2018) shows that in nearly every year over the previous decade, more than a million people were given permanent residence (the so-called green card.) But there are bigger numbers of foreigners given temporary admission each year for employment. In 2018, there were nearly four million workers and their families allowed in to the US on these temporary visas, with more than one million of these coming from Canada. There were also significant numbers from Mexico and India. However, President Trump’s latest move to curb immigration does not cover these.

So  about 4/5ths of existing immigration still happening.  He has achieved virtually nothing but will Trumpet it as a great, very great, wonderful very, very thing.

He's supporters aren't exactly sticklers for details.
