Given that he was President with Dem majorities in both houses and nothing changed a lot of people will disagree. You also can't say that the problem with the LAPD is the lack of Democratic voters in Los Angeles or California. If they had started with a strong legislative agenda they might have done a bit better in 2010. Everything we know about Obama now suggests that the Change message was bullshit and the real agenda was protecting his Goldman and Citibank mates. I've read some really good articles from Obama since he left the Whitehouse that are completely undermined that he did nothing on these issues for eight years. He barely even spoke out on them. Voting for Trump would be horrendous for the US but good for the rest of the world, and voting for Clinton the opposite. Crime Bill Joe's response to this has been arguing that the solution to problems with policing is training them to shoot suspects in the leg rather than the chest.
