Yes, if you can afford to do so. Many of the people this will affect can't afford to do so.

If they couldn't afford a Greyhound ticket they'd struggle to afford an abortion. Unless they're free? Is this what it's about, socialised medicine?

I believe the collective noun for those guys is a yewtree.

'A yewtree of Republican lawmakers today passed a bill...'

Also, no fucking way is Garlan Gudger a real person. 100% made up in some Fox news brainstorming session.

Sebastian Gorka declaring "it's a war for our culture" over that episode of Arthur just months after declaring "they're trying to take away your hamburgers. This is what Stalin always dreamed of but never accomplished". Absolute king.

Forever in awe of this man's giant fucking melon head.

Depending on income there are places that can assist financially. If they have insurance, it's probably unlikely that they'd be covered for out of state. So they might have $100 for a bus ticket, but they might not have $1,500 to pay for the procedure.

John Oliver did a piece on abortion laws that do their best to make sure no one can get an abortion. It's worth tracking down. To lighten the mood, he finished with footage of sloths in a bucket.

Tadpoles would have been more appropriate.

Listened to the CPAC Chapo that discusses his book and appearance. Amazing. Virgil points out his book, Why We Fight, open withs "WAR" the exact same opening as Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith. He's undefeated.

Dumb question but if you're in Alabama and want an abortion, can you go to a neighbouring state and do it there?

Depends on the wording of the bill. The one Georgia are trying to ram thru that makes it a felony to abort after 6 weeks - the so-called 'heartbeat' bill - covers going out of state to do it as well. 10 years in the pokey.

The Alabmama ruling is a bit surprising. You'd think the absolute nonces that both vote for and indeed run for the Republican party wouldn't want to pass any sort of law which increases the chances of their "preferences" coming to light.

'Murica though

The more the medieval states in the US revert to the 14th Century, the more will be the flight of those more able to the seaboards. The net result will be a socio-economic sandwich in which the middle descends completely into a wild, virtually ungovernable dystopian Southern Comfort hell-hole.
They would just re polulate by going to the next logical step... Enforced pregnancy... The fucking psycho b*****ds

And you wonder why these countries are trying to get nuclear weapons.

It’s like mad man theory for morons. The only people who buy this ranting is his electorate in the rust belt.

Fortunately Iran is lead by a far more rational man than the US. And that really is saying something.

Doubt the people in the rust belt give a f**k about Iran. Don't know why he's taken sides against Iran, unless it's the big party the Saudis threw for him and his creepy son-in-law whispering in his ear. The establishment, both Democrat and Republican, can't forgive them for the Tehran embassy siege, nearly 40 years later, and the Beirut bombing, Yanks have an awful long memory, but I don't think Trump will start a war there, doubt he gives a f**k.

Two words - John Bolton. Read David Pratt's excellent article in yesterday's National.

They give a f**k about their Prez being billy big balls over the funny looking yellow people in the Middle East. Iran is being presented to them as terrorism, and he’s being tough on the borders and tough on immigration. In the end if he wins 2020, it doesn’t matter which trade deals/international agreements he’s jeopardised. Yet another reason why he’s utterly incapable of being a president.

The worrying thing is he’s sacrificing foreign policy in order to appeal to his voters who care not a jot about foreign policy, but do care about borders and stuff.

Iran just happens to be the country of choice that allows him the freedom to close neighbouring Embassies and consulates. Unfortunately, the reactionary media allow him to do this, and it’s rhetoric like this which builds into conspiracy theories. It also helps that the Saudis have more money to donate to the Trump pocket, of course, but still, it’s just Trump scaremongering for the sake of votes.

Ultimately, Trump’s an isolationist, and the less federal funds he has to send overseas the better.
