The Official Former President Trump thread

Some interesting testimony coming out from the hearings yesterday including Trump, shockingly, acting like a giant man child and demanding to be taken to the capitol, attempting to grab the wheel of The Beast and getting into physical altercations with the Secret Service.

Trump, as he always does, has claimed he doesn't know this woman but has heard negative things about her...

Such a pity that the secret service didn't let him do what he wanted. Might be a bit harder for the average person to minimise his involvement if there was footage of his grinning puss watching the violence unfurl.

The case of Dominion Voting Systems v Fox News continues to progress.  I understand that in the USA press freedom is fairly well protected but Fox seems to think that means they can say what they want, however untrue and lacking in evidence it is, without reprisals.  It really is quite staggering.

Fox have successfully defended Tucker Carlson in court by arguing that only a moron would take his droolings seriously. You can flag this up to Tucker Carlson viewers, you can show them the judgment and they still won’t believe you. They know their audience. Mostly because they’ve propagandized them relentlessly to get them to that stage.

That was the same with Alex Jones. His defence against being a massive lying bloater was that he was an entertainer, and only slack-jawed morons would believe anything he said was true. Not sure how well that worked out for him.

These folk know that their audience will say that their heroes HAD to tell the authorities that their content is fictional, because the SYSTEM is BIASED against them to stop people hearing the TRUTH. If you wanted to start a flame war, you could say that this is a direct consequence of giving religious belief any credence whatsoever; if you have to respect that my deity and fictional writings are real, my evidence-free beliefs about the material world should be respected also.

Fox might have fucked themselves by wilfully damaging the finances of a wealthy business, which is about as anti-American as it's possible to get. Trump's proven that you can baselessly accuse a human being of anything without consequence.

It did right up until the judge ruled against him when the Sandy Hook parents took him for 'entertaining' that their children being massacred was a hoax. He's now pleading penury, however there's some investigation going on into his finances and if it turns out he's been funnelling cash off left and right (which he has) to then claim he can't afford the settlements then criminal charges could well follow. Think it comes under RICO statute.

Glorious. He'll just end up a martyr in some quarters, but the more these creeps are publicly exposed the better.
