The Supreme Court seems to be saying it has to either be settled in Congress or at state level. So everyone who cares about this issue should be more motivated to vote....

The catch being that only really works if the person you can vote for will actually do what you want them to. That's where the GOP has an advantage.

When’s the PA Senate Election? How Fetterman does in that could be interesting given how vocal he’s been about being pro-abortion.

ETA - primaries, even. Which are May. 17th.

They still needed 10 Republicans onside, that would be electoral suicide for them, in the primaries anyway.

They can scrap the filibuster with 51 votes. Or 50 plus Harris.

And leave that power in the hands of the GOP when they take over. Most of Trump's war with Mitch McConnell was because he wouldn't do it to scrap Obamacare. Maybe they should have done it anyway, but it would mean the Republicans could reverse everything the Dems pass when they get Congress back.

They can't simultaneously say Roe being overturned is a catastrophe and also that they can't do anything about Manchin. They need to exert maximum pressure on him and Sinema.

They won't but because it's all a pantomine to convince naive voters that they need just to vote a bit harder. Sinema flipped to the right as soon as the Dems won enough seats to negate Manchin, they will always arrange it so the promised land of the policies they actually run on is just slightly out of reach.

What if the self proclaimed Devout Catholic leaders in the Democratic Party don't actually support abortion.

They had 50 years to legislate Roe into law and i don't think they ever tried.

The GOP didn't really want to reverse Obamacare either.

Obama said he was going to do it as his first act as President then totally forgot about it. He's not an RC just an all round fraud.

Hillary choosing anti abortion Tim Kaine as her running mate is probably a good indicator of where the party elite stands on the issue.

Sleepy Joe outright saying they won't be passing any pro choice legislation this year.

His priest will be delighted.

Because they can't, they don't have a working majority. He's entirely correct that they need to make gains at the mid-terms to have any chance of achieving anything.

He should be saying Sinema and Manchin can either fall in line or f**k off.

Leadership would be hinting that this is a line that if crossed opens up Senate reform, packing the Supreme Court and a constitutional amendment. That's what FDR did and it worked.

Plenty of supposedly Democratic politicians support the guns n' Gilead agenda. Biden is clearly useless, but there's f**k all he can do under the current system that gives pointless places like Nebraska as many votes as California.

Obama should have pursued radical reform in his first term when they could have done what they wanted, but he spent the time trying to make friends with all the bigots.

Given that they'll make it more and more difficult for Black and Hispanic people to vote, it is only going to get worse for the foreseeable future.

The good ol us of a giving today's women less rights than there great grannies...up next will be gay rights etc...complete fruit loops

Horrible, horrible pish from the scumbags over there. Just sub human filth. They are fucking scum.

The mentalists there will be going for gay marriage next. They've pretty much said so. Transgender people are going to be targeted too.

Next will be contraception/birth control.

They might even start being open in their opposition to interracial marriage. Very slippery slope from there.

All the folk who thought/think Trump is 'great entertainment' or the like can truly take themselves to f**k. He's always been a highly dangerous piece of shit, and he's helped bring this about.
