D.A.F.C
America joining Russia in a conflict is pretty groundbreaking. It's the only thing I agree with Trump on. A major step forward imo.

HTG
Looks like there is a bit of a row back from the original order going on. Someone in the US government machinery must be going to their work tomorrow morning with the single intention of getting a hold of this daft c**t and laying down a few tellts. Trump is making the country look really fucking stupid.

EdgarusQPFC
Don't agree with the ban whatsoever, if anyone had been planning an attack in the US in the next 3 months odd's are they are already in the country which in itself renders the ban pointless and all its doing is generating animosity against him and the US, which makes the chances of an attack happening more likely. Truth be told i didn't expect that Trump would get what hes done in a week over the entire course of his term, while you can technically credit him for doing the things he said he would its concerning that he has been able to do these things basically unchallenged. One of the biggest reasons i thought he was the lesser of two evils in regards to Hillary is that Trump said he wanted to work along side Putin and not sabre rattle and threaten like Hillary did, while the shit he has done so far hasn't been good, at the very least the joint action with Russia is a positive, cause provoking Russia into a conflict would have been far far worse. Clinton wanted to impose a no fly zone over Syria and that could have provoked war. Hopefully things will calm down in the US, cause its been fucking chaotic over the past month
welshbairn
Trump's put Rick Perry in charge of America's nuclear arsenal. A saving grace is that if Trump ever presses the button it's unlikely anything will happen.

He's given people a month to come up with a plan to go after ISIS, so suspect there will be some pyrotechnics in Syria and Iraq in the not too distant future. On balance though he is probably less likely to launch a major war than Hilary Clinton would have been as he doesn't have a neo-con type of agenda but more of an isolationist America First one. He lost his first soldier yesterday attacking Yemen.
Deplorable
For all the smart alecks who wondered why Saudi Arabia wasn't on the banned list: The Saudi government has agreed in a phone call with Trump to support safe zones for refugees in Syria and Yemen. Trump said in his campaign that safe zones should be used as an alternative to settlement in the West and that the Saudi's should pay. No word on who will pay, but even if the West kicks in this will be way more effective at saving numerous lives as well as cost effective. Trump wasn't just banning people to protect us. He was showing what he's willing to do. One week in and the fuckin Saudis are our bitch instead of the other way around as it's been in the last few decades. One week in and Trump already has a plan to save hundreds of thousands of people in distress, protect the West, and to make other people help pay. What a boss!
Cerberus
If he thinks that the US and Russia will defeat ISIS in a month and wants to stop the fighters coming here looking for revenge then he has reason. If the conflict ends soon and bombs start going off in Europe then he'll have been proven right.Giving Syrian back to Assad and leaving the middle east alone would be great news for everyone.
Frankie S
If we needed any confirmation that the relentlessly grim 2016 was merely an amuse-bouche for the full tasting menu of pain to be inflicted upon us by a sadistic 2017, then, before January has expired, we've been shorn of all hope, like sheep in a slaughterhouse. Locked into an irreversible downward spiral, as we career past the wrathful and the sullen in the fifth circle of Hell, before saying 'hello' to the heretics on Level Six, the rapidly-dwindling band of resolutely cheerful idiots amongst us will doubtless console themselves with the thought that, if April is the cruellest month, then February and March might be endurable (just about), with May the light at the end of tunnel. But, of course, back in the real world, May is not going to introduce Trump to 'the better angels of his nature', for the glaringly obvious reason that he doesn't have any. No, May is #TheresaTheAppeaser, the woman who gave us a harrowing insight into the reality of post-Brexit Britain 'taking back control', by discarding dignity and principles alike to beg for crumbs from the table of the perma-tanned crypto-fascist currently holed up in the White House. We're moving beyond satire, into a world where a dystopian parable such as Sinclair Lewis' 'It Can't Happen Here' now resembles not so much a chilling prophecy as the utopian ramblings of a demented optimist. Brian Cox should seize the moment and start a band called N:ightmare. Their zeitgeist-defining debut single 'Things Can Only Get Worse' would surely be the apocalyptic anthem of 2017.

Granny Danger
I would love to think that support for Assad is just trolling, but there are some on here who seem to think it is genuinely a good idea! #posttruth - Saw an interview with Trump on the election fraud issue, his rationale for believing it to be true was that the were "lots of folk on social media that agree with me".
Deplorable
Mexico's former finance minister threatens to unleash the cartels and flood the US with drugs. 2 minute 10 second mark. Mexico shows once again that they are our greatest enemy, and have been for pushing 200 years. The funny thing is that you guys all white knight Mexico, but the country basically operates on a racial caste system and their elites use the US as a dumping ground for the problems their caste system creates. Mexico is a middle income country. There's no reason all the 5 ft nothing Mexican Indian guys I've worked with my whole life had to grow up without running water and had to travel thousands of miles from their families to work like dogs for scraps just to support their families. The elites in Mexico are freaking out. They will buy some time by blaming the big bad Yanqui, but eventually their underclass will demand change and top is going to get a bit hot. Go look at the pictures of the people in their cabinet. It's whiter than any cabinet the US government's had in about 4 or 5 decades. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabinet_of_Mexico
