My personal favourite part of the highlights is the linesman watching the Cowden 15 drag Brian Martin about 5 yards in a headlock. Honourable mention to ref also failing to notice the keepers 80 yard sprint to get involved.

McGrun is our captain he would have been there to calm things down.

Cough's our Manager, if he'd came to calm things down he'd have been sent off. The rules are the rules.

Funnily enough now watching his interview and he's said the same thing.

Yes the rules are the rules - Cowden's captain gets to be on the pitch, the managers don't

Still raging. Partly because we wuz robbed and partly because we always engineer a way to screw things up in the most annoying way.

Sheerin was crap, Walker made some good saves but should have prevented the goal, Notman's tackle was ridiculous, Ref was pish.

As for the little bit of bother in the Ducket, that pissed up arse from Leeds is lucky he didn't get his brain cell removed. Wouldn't have happened with the fence.....

Berwick's problem was playing for a 1-0 win and only having Sheerin upfront himself thus inviting us to always go forward. A few times Berwick had breaks but couldn't do anything as there was no one there.

With the chances we had 2nd half though we were worthy on a point in the end.

As the Sunday Post today accurately summed up - Cowden's pressure brought them a deserved equaliser

I agree that Cowden probably deserved a point. Thought you played better than some of your posters on here are saying.

On the other hand, Sheerin missed a sitter in the first (2-0 and you may well have crumpled) and the foul on Lavery before Notman's bonkers reaction, was crystal clear.

Deano's penalty looks over the line in the highlights.

It looked so at the time but one of those which would be hard to call for a ref. They get a split second to decide while we look it on a recording over and over!

As I said you needed a second goal. One goal leads are dangerous, no one disputed that Pyper fouled Lavery but Notman should have kept the head.
