This ticky tacky football with little end product Rangers play make them one of the most boring teams to watch.

Its strange. Windass and Forrester look like they have bags of ability and pace, yet get punted into a congested middle and forced to play sideways.

Swanson and Kane should have done better with their chances. Alston very unlucky to hit the post. Saints had the better chances second half (that header aside and even that was down to good fortune in the build up) and got the tactics spot on. Garner is a horrible wee b*****d and should have been off the park.

Good point especially given results elsewhere.

Got to think that the pressure on Bread Man and/or the Convicted Tax Cheat will start skyrocketing if they keep dropping points at home. I mean it's pretty clear that they are absolutely nowhere near Celtic (which is all they really care about tbh) and if it keeps up like this they will end up below Celtic by a points difference in the double figures - leaving aside the possiblitiy of finishing behind Aberdeen and/or other sides.

Well played St Johnstone and Tommy Wright - think he'll end up at bigger and better things eventually, but he's a very talented manager.

So Rangers cam still win the title without beating Celtic.

Or St Johnston emoji23.png

I know there are Irish League teams in the Challenge Cup, but I didn't realise there were RoI towns represented in the Scottish Premier.

Frustrating.  Clearly the better side but showed our frailty for the goal by the diddy team.  At least they showed a touch of ambition compared to other dross we've entertained at Ibrox.

Just not good enough from us.

You say this virtually every match. Time to rethink this total football you think you play?

They are always going to struggle against a decent street wise team with those players. At Inverness under Yogi we played this type of football more effectively but sometimes it was just eye bleeding stuff with a lot of sideways and back passing, just going nowhere.

I thought Saints were untroubled through out most of the game at the back, a couple of good saves from Clark. They seemed quite happy to let Rangers have their 66% possession.

A more useful point for St. Johnstone than Rangers.

As most teams should. It's all very well keeping the ball in defence and midfield but in the final third there was very little going on and Saints were able to counter vey effectively.
