HibeeJibee
Wigtown who were still unbeaten in the league until a week ago continued their cataclysmic late-season collapse today, as they were spanked 3-0 at Mid Annandale... Edusport will win the SOSL, and (late EOSL licence developments aside) promotion to LL, if they avoid defeat at home to St Cuthbert Wanderers next weekend... For their part Wigtown, now with only 1pt from their last 3 games, must beat Abbey Vale at home - plus hope Edusport lose. In EOSL there were clean-sheet wins for Leith and LTHV. Afoot LL both Selkirk and Hawick lost.

rigano
Lthv are saying they have the plans in place. A small stand us to be erected behind dugout area at saughton. Good win v Stirling today.

Rab B Nesbit
Hoping to get down to Hawick v Vale on Wednesday. Whatever the result it'll go down to the last weekend Selkirk v Strollers and Stirling Uni v Hawick. Hawick a point behind and 6 worse off goal difference they may need to win both. theProdigy
No doubt about it Wigtown have thrown the SoS title, dear oh dear You just need to have gone to the games to realise you are wrong! The performances have been poor but Nithsdale, Edu and Mids have all played extremely well in their games... Missing players and refereeing decisions have played a massive part in the games as well with a number of dubious decisions! Just need to dust down and win on Saturday and hope the luck is on their side
Nimmo's Notes
The thick plottens, Cowden, Clyde and Edinburgh City all win, Berwick Rangers now in the mix.

It's certainly getting exciting. It's all about form going into the end of the season and Berwick have the worst atm
rigano
Not sure it's that exciting if you see Cowdenbeath last 3 games it's very unlikely anyone bar Cowdenbeath will finish bottom.
selfassemblyshire
Not sure it's that exciting if you see Cowdenbeath last 3 games it's very unlikely anyone bar Cowdenbeath will finish bottom. They're playing 2 teams with the worst form in the league. I reckon they'll stay up, probably on GD.
HibeeJibee
This is actually the thread for the level below, btw. Hawick, beat Vale of Leithen 3-1 tonight. They jump 2pts clear of Selkirk, although their GD is 4 worse. Saturday sees both finish:Selkirk v Civil Service Strollers University of Stirling v Hawick Royal Albert Accordingly therefore Selkirk must win and hope Hawick don't. surely not!
Think we'd be looking at threave down last year and Preston this, with potentially Selkirk away too ( playoff dependent). Apart from spartans, were they not the first three licensed teams?
Rab B Nesbit
Good wee run down to Hawick tonight. Josh Morris with his 30th and 31st goals of the season was the difference scoring Hawicks only really 2 chances in the first half. Vale pulled 1 back and had the home side worried but a 3rd settled it. Danny O'Donnell went off early on with a nasty looking injury (collar bone, arm?) and had to be replaced by a coach on the bench apparently. Hope he is ok. HibeeJibee
Unexpected developments aside... Preston Athletic are relegated. Selkirk will be relegated if Buckie win promotion. Edusport Academy are promoted to LL.

HibeeJibee
I was just guarding against someone going "aha, but what if LTHV get licensed at last minute!" or "aha, but what if someone do a Threave!". Such aside those 3 look definite AFAICS.
stanley
Is it 100% confirmed that Edusport will be promoted (assuming LTHV don't get a licence)? It will be the first time with promotion/relegation between the leagues so it will be interesting to see what happens here.

Lothian were confident of getting a license when they pumped us at Spartans a few weeks ago....
