Edinburgh doesn't have any direct flights on the dates I want either and isn't any cheaper. The flight times with KLM are pretty friendly as well. There's been a few occasions in the past when I've got the last train down to Edinburgh or Glasgow and then sat in the airport all night for an early flight somewhere. I remember meeting a seriously hot Italian girl in Glasgow airport who was doing the same. She was returning home after spending the summer working in Nardini's in Largs. She'd bought a bottle of malt whisky for her dad but she decided to crack it open. I was half pished and slightly heartbroken when we went our separate ways in the morning.
