Compete  record for calendar year 2016

League P 33 W 26 d 4 L3 F84 A 35 Pts 88

Cups    P 10 W 8 D 0 L 2 F 39 A 7

Team has scored 76 goals already this season which is only 8 less than the whole of last season.

Eight of the players that were here last season have already beaten or matched their goalscoring totals for 2015/16

Good work Gogsy.

The last 2 posts you must be having a laugh

Thommo no even on a 1/4 of that figure, madness, if you think clubs pay that at our level then you ain't got a clue.

We don't generate near £100k so the budget is nowhere near that figure, our budget is much lower than it was last year.

Out went - Scott Gates, Calum Smith, Paul Currie, Mark Morrison, David Banjo

In came - Cabey McCabe, Craig Thomson and Jordan Moore

As has been stated numerous times we spend what we can afford, if the income drops then the budget drops if it increases then we will spend it on the ground or the squad, simples.

Tbf it is all sustainable but a 100k wage bill is a big budget for this level.

That would work out at over £200 per player on a squad of 20 based upon the standard 40 weeks contract.

That is roughly the figure being muted in several quarters.

Craig Thomson as one example has roughly hours commute - and will clearly be looking for a wage to make it worthwhile.

Cherry picking players always comes at a cost.

No even a quarter of £500 p/w? So you're saying he's on £125 p/w or less?

Lies! [emoji1] Horses mouth. The boy has a big gub.

Wasn't there a post on the missing kelty hearts thread by  a reliable source from Bo'ness[emoji6] claiming he was definitely getting £250 a week from Kelty. He must have got a big increase since then.

Nope. That source was from Bonnyrigg. £250 is what the lad himself has been spouting though. Plus fuel expenses...
