Those who have already lost their jobs might be calling it a meltdown already.

Folk lose their jobs all the time for various reasons, that's just life.

Aye, but a weak pound, various companies moving operations abroad and weakening supply chains in the face of renewed borders might be systemic of something, wouldn't you agree?

No, it's more disingenuous to suggest that we weren't promised an immediate meltdown by the great and good on the Remain side.

A near 10% immediate devaluation of the currency is pretty meltdowny.

Can you provide a link to this, please?

All these things are out there, recession( still waiting on the contraction, in fact it grew quicker than estimated at one point), 500,000 job losses(nearly a million wrong), of course these predictions never happened and weren't pushed to death by the MSM.

A simple "no" would have sufficed.

I don't put up links to prove I'm correct, the folk that want to check will find/remember them, both sides were shocking in the EU referendum, no amount of revisionism can detract from that fact.

He wasn't in the same league as Gordon Brown when it came to ineptitude.

Brown and Darling had actually handled the crash quite well. Things only went seriously downhill once austerity began.

This Tory government gets very little media scrutiny but on every single metric their economic record is abysmal. All they have succeeded in doing is making the rich a lot richer.

That means they've succeeded then.
