I remember reading a charming story about the Slovakian and Slovenian ambassadors to the UN who have a weekly lunch to exchange misdelivered post intended for each other.

Not as bad as the residents of Asuncion, capital of Paraguay.  Their post ends up on Ascension Island from time to time.

Found this Dutch joke about Brexit funny.

Quote

But mainly, a country they once felt they knew has become a mystery. When parliament sent Theresa May back to Brussels to renegotiate, the Dutch paper Trouw described it thus: “It’s a bit like the crew of the Titanic deciding, by majority vote, that the iceberg really must get out of the way.”

This is a hate crime

As hate-filled and sectarian as You'll Never Walk Alone.

Meanwhile, the Bulldog Spirit is alive and well. Forget IS or Putin, let's get the  Swedish tourists.

Similar to this joke:

This is the transcript of a radio conversation of a US naval ship with Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October, 1995. Radio conversation released by the Chief of Naval Operations 10-10-95.

Americans: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the North to avoid a collision.
Canadians: Recommend you divert YOUR course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.
Americans: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course.
Canadians: No. I say again, you divert YOUR course.
Americans: This is the aircraft carrier USS Lincoln, the second largest ship in the United States' Atlantic fleet. We are accompanied by three destroyers, three cruisers and numerous support vessels. I demand that YOU change your course 15 degrees north, that's one five degrees north, or countermeasures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship.
Canadians: This is a lighthouse. Your call.

Blackford on fire in the Commons. Just called the PM a liar!  Great stuff :thumsup2

Not really - childish and pathetic would be my opinion. Maybe they can stage another walk out.

Nobody is asking for your opinion so pipe down

Any MP who claims they don’t want a No Deal Brexit and who gives May further time is abdicating their responsibility.

May has a brass neck; two years of negotiations, a deal she agreed to that was decimated in Parliament, further talks that everyone knows is a waste of time and she’s asking for people to trust her.

Do you not think if someone lies as quite clearly as May did then it should be highlighted?

The fact that MP’s are allowed to “woof” at female members and suggest others commit suicide but are not allowed to call out blatant lying on an incredibly important subject is another reason Westminster should be binned immediately.

But lying like you would expect a child to isn't childish and pathetic in your yoon view.

Couldn't make it up...she asks for two weeks to go back to the EU and renegotiate the deal...EU immediately tell her where to get off. Now she comes back two weeks later, and asks for...another two or three weeks to renegotiate the deal.

So..by the time we have a 'meaningful' vote on her deal (with no renegotiation) it will then be 4 weeks (at best) before the leaving date. As has been said what feels now like thousands of times, the initial 6 bills which have to pass the commons, plus reams of legal text has no chance of passing before March 29th, and that's even if her deal was voted through.

A 'staged' no deal (in their words, there is obviously no such thing) must now be a stick on.

You're against lying MPs being outed as being liars?

Using unparliamentary language isn't the way to do it as he chose to withdraw his remarks.

It's un-British.

Pip pip, jolly good show, 1966 'n all that.
