As you say, not much wrong with the process, per se, but if the chickens' living conditions were regulated to the same standard as they are in the EU, there would be no need for the chlorine wash. What's better off? Higher wages? Reduced tax burden? Higher interest rates? Lower interest rates? Better public services? More social housing? Higher house prices? More purchasing power?
