See, it's not all doom and gloom (according to the Express) tourists will be flocking over.
I would guess the fall in the value of the pound is the main reason.
I for one am fucking delighted that reliance on foreigners will increase as a result of Brexit

That will be fine until somebody discovers that most of them are foreigners.

Since it is the Express I'm always interested in checking what that fucking comic is reporting.

Headline and story: £26b tourist boom

Reality: Inbound tourism expected to go up £1.6b

https://www.visitbritain.org/2020-inbound-tourism-forecast

It's only a £24.4b misrepresentation, I suppose.

It’s a small misrepresentation compared to those to come.

About 50% more than the MASSIVE BLACK HOLE that would bankrupt an independent Scotland, I hear.

100% more.

Get a few more tourists in and we can cover the deficit. Problem solved.

Sorry, I wasn't paying full attention when that figure was being discussed.

If only there was a righteously-crusading poster who could provide the actual figure, and reiterate their reasoning. Alas, it seems unlikely.
