Granny Danger
One interesting thing; this was a unanimous decision. All three judges decided that Johnson had acted unlawfully. The judgement of the Supreme Court will be interesting.

Either the Prime Minister of the UK lied to the Queen or the UK supreme court will overrule the unanimous opinion of the highest court in Scotland. Constitutional fireworks either way!

Spelling "what" with an "o" is a great touch too Even if you were to try and write something like that as a parody it would be hard to fit any more wrongness into If these people aren't prepared to learn the language they should piss off back to Moronistan
Detournement
I just searched Hansard for the phrase "good governance principle" as referred to by the appeal judges. It returned zero results in the past 220 years which was surprising considering it is apparently "enshrined in the constitution" (which obviously begs the question of when it was enshrined). The judgement released on Friday is going to make an interesting read.

Pretty much every legal expert thinks that the Supreme court will side with the verdict of the English courts on this, simply because of the way the law is interpreted in different countries. However, there's no doubt that this has been a significant, humiliating kick in the nads for Johnson, and is a 'dinnae mess with us' reminder of major constitutional fights still to come.
