Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

At the moment the deadline agreed by the EU is the 31st of October.
If the law passed today means that the uk cannot leave with no deal and bojo has to seek an extension what happens if the EU refuses?
Can't leave with no deal.
Can't leave with may's deal ?
Would this mean that the default position in the view of uk law would be revocation of article 50?
The EU kick the uk out on October the 31st, then what is the position?
If the EU say no to an extension then it's either no deal or cobble something together in Parliament that the EU will agree to.

So, no deal or May's deal are the only options still available.

The Eu may not accept a different proposal from the UK.

We cant force the EU to let us extend A50.

It looks like IDS is going to be making a fortune if Brexit goes through. He is desperate for it.

Yeah completely disgusting he is advocating the pm breaking a law. Awful precedent to set.

A way around it for Johnson would be for him to formally send the extension request while doing a deal with Orban or someone to block it. An extension requires unanimity from the 27.

It’s been explained many times that whilst technically an extension could be vetoed, the 27 leaders will get together and discuss a unified position before the actual voting takes place. There’s no way that Hungary will piss off the rest of the EU by forcing through a no deal.

Absolutely.

For all the populist bluster, Hungary is one of the biggest benefactors of EU funding, even more so when you take into account the preferential rates it gets from the European Investment Bank (EIB).

After all it wasn't Hungary that 'wun the woar!

Hungary pisses off the EU all the time, it was the Tories who bailed them out last time. One region of Belgium held up the Canada trade deal for months.

Orban will do whatever Merkel and Macron say.
I suppose there has to be a first time, but some serious money has been speculated on a hard brexit, with political backing from across the pond where they see a united EU as a threat. Let's say if he or another leader says no they won't have any pension worries when they retire.
