Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

People phoning in to Eddie Mair's LBC show threatening civil disobedience in the streets of London tomorrow. The frightening thing is these threats are coming from some opposed to thwarting BoJo's plans, and others in support of him and his plans.

What a fucking mess. Come on Nicola, get us out of this crazy union.

Here’s a scenario I could live with:

1. Johnson returns to Parliament with a ‘new’ deal which is really May’s deal.

2.  Parliament reject this despite many right wing Labour MPs backing it.

3.  We crash out on 31 October.

4.  Johnson tries to call an immediate GE but fails to get the necessary numbers.

What larks!

Campbell, Mandelson and Blair setting out to overturn the result from 17/6/16 didn't help either.

In Parliament the opportunity was the vote for the Customs Union which would have had a majority if it was supported by the SNP and Lib Dems.

That was only an indicative vote with no access to single market. Man, you really hate the SNP

I don't blame the SNP for going all out for their preferred outcome but if we end up with No Deal that will be the one vote where it was possible to take a different track. If a majority went for it then May and the cabinet would have gone with it.

VONC next week anyway.

Just over half the Tories interviewed agreed?  That’s way down on another poll I saw.

The Tories in this country have lurched to the right in large numbers.  I think this is due in part to them seeing Labour policies under Corbyn.  Regardless of his personal (in)abilities he’s the first Labour leader in decades who would make significant and structural changes to society.  That’s what the blue rinse brigade and gammons are shit scared of.

I hope Facebook rep and weak Tory collaborator Nick Clegg doesn't get forgotten when the Public Enquiry of this clusterfuck of epic proportions ever gets launched. Without his Fixed Terms Parliament Act, for which he sold the welfare state and student fees, there would have been a General Election after the Government lost its key legislation in December. No question.

Corbyn should stand aside now and hand the reigns of his party to Keir Starmer.

At least he (Starmer) seems to have some idea as to how he wants matters to progress from here. The ever dilatory Corbyn is still weighing it all up.

You two talk utter shite.  If people want to vote for a Tory Lite party they should do so.  That party should not be the Labour Party.

The Labour Party should offer a genuine alternative.  If people don’t want to vote for that alternative fair enough, but far more people will once the clusterfuck of Brexit is resolved.

Communism's finished now, Granny..... We've moved on quite a bit since the glory days of Ken Livingstone and Tony Benn.

High time you got yourself into the 21st Century.

Sorry Granny, that's just incorrect.

Since 1950...almost 70 years ago....Labour have formed the UK government for a massive 5 years (if you exclude the 'hated' Tony Blair years).

UK voters will never, ever vote in a Corbyn-led Labour administration. The country hasn't voted in a socialist administration since 1945.
