Really struggling to understand what right

The person who can command the confidence of a majority of the House gets to be First Lord of the Treasury.

Currently that is Johnsone as his party won the last election and have a confidence and supply deal with the DUP.

If he tries for a No Deal Brexit there is a threat that he will lose the confidence of enough of his own MPs to mean he will lose the House.

Corbyn has no "right" until he can command the confidence of enough members of parliament. Corbyn is trying to obtain what he sees as a significant electoral advantage in a possible general election by using his parties numbers to demand he be made prime minister to stop No Deal Brexit, but the other parties will try to may prevent that perceived electoral advantage. Who ever can build a coalition of enough MPs will gain the right to replace Johnsone in case he loses a confidence vote. No one has any "right", its the hard left lying and pretending Corbyn has some non existent right to power.

Mr Corbyn seems to feel entitled to the power and has done nothing to bring others on board. Mostly because he is thick as pigshit. Now its a question of who can manipulate public opinion, the other members of parliament and the time available in the House to gain confidence.

Your post lost all credibility when you threw in the term "hard left".

You know that schadenfreude  a lot of folk are expressing towards farmers and fishermen as Brexit approaches? I get a little bit of the same when Snp fans (and you're not an informed politically aware person, so don't kid yourself - this might as well be the x-factor or the SPFL second tier for you) cannot see beyond Independence. All those Tories aren't going to f**k off, you know, and idiots like you will have chased the socialist alternative. Then we'll see how progressive the SNP really are. You are aware of their old nickname, I assume?
All those Eton robots who've never experienced a day of normality in their lives will disappear day after independence.

We can leave you and a party with as many Tories in their ranks as anything else to continue the revolution.

In other words you cannot argue with the contents.

Now for those who are interested but not part of the weirdos cult. parliament has 650 members, the speaker does not vote on confidence and the Sinn Fein do not turn up.

Without abstentions there would be 321 votes needed to win confidence.

Labour have 247

Non Labour and non Conservatives in the rest have 84. (DUP are against No Deal)

All of those (outside of Northern Ireland) will have Labour seats as targets in an election or being targeted. Even the Greens, so they have a strong motivation in preventing Labour from gaining an electoral advantage.

About 60-70 tories support hard Brexit.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/sixty-tory-mps-demand-theresa-may-commits-britain-to-a-hard-brexit-a7426811.html

So the question then becomes, in the event of Johnsone losing the House how many tories would swing behind a caretaker government to block no deal.

Its clear why Corbyns fans are wailing about Swinson, her 14 MPs are much easier to think about that the elephant in the room of 311 conservatives when dreaming of the Great Helmsman getting into no10. This it the calculus he ignored when demanding to be made PM.

This would not be "voting to keep the Tories in power" its a caretaker to oversee a Brexit extension then dissolves for elections. It would be hugely in the interests of the SNP, Lib Dems and others to portray Labour as intransigent and power grabbing, risking No Deal with an election to follow in days to weeks later.

That is the cards the last election dealt everyone minus the large number of defections.

I've seen Corbyn described over the last three years as pro, anti, muddled, or whatever suits the speaker's personal agenda.

Now, don't get me wrong,I realise that not all hold him in the same regard as I and the majority of party members do - but look at the alternative, ffs!

There are still people out there, and I'm sure we've all spoken to them, who blame his actions for the situation we're in now - while simultaneously blaming him for not doing enough to avoid the situation we're in.

When Swinson says he cannot command a majority, she conveniently ignores that he is a good couple of hundred votes further towards that goal than her party, which holds less seats than independent MPs - and two of those weren't elected on the Lib Dem ticket.

Personally I would not have a problem with Jeremy Corbyn for this and I probably agree with him on lots of things.

However, I suspect it ideally needs a figurehead leader who always knew from the beginning that Brexit was a really bad idea (similar to Churchill regarding the Nazis).
Jeremy Corbyn would struggle to convince anyone that he is that person.

It’s being reported that Johnson is to travel to Europe next week to meet Macron and Merkel.

After he became PM he said that he wouldn’t discuss Brexit with anyone until the backstop had been removed from the withdrawal agreement.  Looks like he’s been lying (again) and has got cold feet.

Dirty collaborator, we should shave his head and tar and feather him when he comes back.

They literally are. It’s a title given to the longest serving male and female MPs, and has been for a very long time.

Incidentally Mhairi Black is the youngest ever "Baby of the House". She's got a few illustrious predecessors, including John Profumo and Bobby Sands.

At least the Australian-style points based system is back on the table!

Boris Johnson further muddied the waters when he said advisers would now be told to work up plans for “an Australian-style points based system”, declining to set any limit on numbers.

My mistake then. Yet another reason to bin off this infantilising nonsense and go independent.

The fact that the terms "Father of the house" and "Mother of the house" are used for long-serving MPs is quite possibly the most ridiculous reason to go independent. I support you guys voting yes (I'm not allowed to vote anymore) and getting the hell out of this shit show, but that's a stupid reason.

I don't get this. We've been using a points system for immigration since 2008, but because it's now "Australian-style" the gammons think it's a good thing?

You reckon? I was hoping it would convince my sceptical family members to vote Yes next time.

Its an odd call to go with the constituency Leave vote. 67.7% fundamentally disagree with us on the single issue we stand for

I recommend taking a gander at any future bumph the Nigel Party shoves through your door - the shapes they twist themselves in to pretend that Scotland really wants to leave are most amusing. We've had a couple from them this year already, for some reason.
