Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

Will the new Gammon Party stand in Scotland?  In some respects it could be good if they do as their vote share should be pretty low. Surely the SNP will win the vote here (albeit on a low turnout) quite comfortably. If the Gammons stand it can send another 'Remain' message from here.

There's a million votes on the table they could have a chance at picking up a fair amount of.

Hard to say as there are different figures out there.

Popular one is we will pay another 6 Billion to the European Empire by October 31st.

Money wasted that could have been used in the U.K.

It's ok, they'll pay for it using Scotlands oil. Money wasted that could have been used in Scotland.

All the indicators are that if there was another vote tomorrow people would chose to stay in the EU.

Given that, if Labour facilitate a Tory Brexit with a couple of tweaks they will get pilloried by their own members and voters.

There isn't another vote tomorrow though and you really need to stop looking at limited sample opinion polls as fact.

There could be another vote shortly and what people want now is more important than what people wanted a long time ago.

We have to presume that you're simply ripping the pish.
Farage's right-wing agenda is based on nothing more than appealing to the lowest  common denominator. He could never get away with that pish in a GE because specific policies easily exposed the vacuous nonsense at the heart of his agenda. That's why in GE's he's been rejected time after time.
The Brexit referendum though, with it's abstract vision, was easy meat for a populist orator. As are European elections.....who the f*ck cares who we elect ?
History proves that it's easy to be a right-wing populist. It never, ever lasts though.

Sentence 3 and 4 here agrees with my "pish". Confusing.

Please don't assume I agree with Farage. As you note though, he is not given an easy ride and is exposed. Must be one of the most sneered at politician in the country.

Just as well someone responded to tirso, I had concerns for him.  He would have cried himself to sleep tonight if he hadn’t got a response; that or block an Aldi’s.

On a different note I would not expect myself to use the term ‘snowflakes’ but fucking hell.

I think you might be getting a bit excited. Aldis are great by the way. They do killie pies now.

Not sure what point you're making. I agree ending free movement was a huge part of the campaign to leave.

My point was a lot of people bought the lie that Turkey are about to join the EU and that Britain will be invaded by millions of them along with Syrians and Iraqis if we stay in the EU. They even used Dads Army imagery ffs.

Utter pish I'm afraid; there was no inherent public campaign to exit the EU, it was manufactured by those on the political right with their own agenda and reflected a deep and long-running schism within the Tory Party. Cameron's folly was to needlessly poke a stick into this festering hornet's nest and the rest is history. Every time folk like yourself attempt to rewrite the script you can expect to be called out.
Fuvvk me. Must have been some victory for leave when they didn't even have a campaign. They manufacted something for their own agenda....... but... it's not a campaign. Two plus two.

I genuinely don't understand what your point is. You think brexit has been carried through by right wing politicians having a laugh within the Tory party in isolation and the voters are ...what?

For the most part, gullible fools. But to be honest, you could have stopped at you 'genuinely don't understand'.

Sure, certain interviews are conducted with a bit of rolling of eyes from interviewers which his supporters see as a bias against him but he has never been challenged on stuff that would bury other politicians.

Farage as late as 2012 was doing meetings saying how much he wanted to get rid of the NHS and replace it with an American-style for profit system. This never came up in interviews apart one episode of Hardtalk where he was asked if he still wants to get rid of the NHS in which he stated he didn't want to talk about it and moved on. I mean he was the leader of then third biggest party in Britain and he's allowed to skip questions on what many voters have as their #1 issue .

Then there was the time shortly after he stood down as UKIP leader he was caught on tape saying he was glad he was no longer their leader as the typical UKIP voter was "low grade" and the kind of person he doesn't like to associate with and yet the only paper I remember covering this was in their online section.

Then there's his sordid sex life. Now I don't personally care about his private life, as long as it's all legal and consensual he bonk as many porn actresses as he likes but I can't think of a single front line politician that if it was revealed their marriage was a sham and had his seedy sex life that it wouldn't be front page news.

Add how much he's pilfered in expenses how this guy is not a pariah is beyond me.

There wont be a neverendum for the remoaners.

I agree. That would require actually leaving first. Enjoy the next 30 years of renewed deadlines m8. 4U0m6pP.png
