Arlene Foster saying DUP won't back it Not what she said - she denied there had been formal talks with Labour. Doublespeak for there have been informal talks with Labour.

It would not be beyond the realms of possibility for the DUP to abstain during the indicative vote and do something different when it’s put as a substantive vote. Hopefully that “something different” would be the right thing, though I wouldn’t hold by breath.
DA Baracus
Scottish independence isn't just about the EU. Whatever the eventual deal, it shouldn't take indyref 2 'off the table'.
Inanimate Carbon Rod
I dont understand those who say it weakens an indy ref 2 argument, cancelling brexit does that, but showing that an EU country can share a border with a non-EU country and have trade, frictionless borders etc coupled with the shite we’ve put up with from the tories/westminster/brexiteers makes it for me that indy is closer than ever. If we couldnt win an indy ref against the worst government in history around the worst political decision in history then surely we’d never win?

I think they're just waiting to see how this pans out and then they'll go ahead regardless.

Sooky
Lib Dems and TIG both come out against CM 2.0. Idiots. Gained a lot of respect for the SNP, actually. They don’t support Brexit at all, but they’ve made the effort to try and find some consensus in the event that it happens.

Michael W
The Lib Dems and TIG are going to f**k this in pursuit of a second referendum that will probably never materialise. Every bit as bad as the hard Brexit fundamentalists with their unwillingness to compromise.
