Maybe that’s what May’s people wanted.  If not they’ve made a complete c**t of it.

Think the blame here is purely on Corbyn's affected petulance.

Appatently it’s the Government lecturn so no election announcement. It’s just gonna be another of her saying f**k all announcements isn’t it?

Mp's at the emergency debate were a bit pissed that May is announcing shit through the media when parliament is still in session, also pissed that she didn't release her letter to EU until PMQ's had started. She's riding roughshod over the place I think she'll get a bit of a kicking next week.

The TIG are not a political group.  They have no right to be invited any more than any other non-aligned MPs.  Were all the independent MPs invited?

What an arsehole, totally blew the moral authority he had before by refusing when May finally invited talks. The idiot thinks it's personal rather than vital national politics. No one gives a f**k if he thinks he's being insulted.

We are days away from bombing out of the EU with no deal.

The SNP, Greens, Lib Dems and PC were all there to discuss what could be done to salvage the situations and Corbyn had a personal fit at the attendence of someone he did not like and flounced out like a petulant school child.

If you cannot negotiate with people you do not like, do not get into the grown up side of politics. Stick to marches and waving banners in front of 50 people with SWP printed placards. .

By walking out though he just makes it look like a petulant tantrum.

He could have taken the moral high ground - instead he's just given ammunition to his opponents.

He is a political amateur.

I do.  Looks like Corbyn does.  I’d imagine a few other folk.  You have the right not to care.

There are more important things going on right now, but the Leader of the Opposition having a hissy fit over nothing doesn't help inspire the people he's meant to be offering leadership to.

Its a fucking nonsense. Not to defend May but you'd presume whatever the meeting was about she'd want to consult all significant external groupings. That includes a bunch of MPs who vote together even as they don't represent a de joure party.

Not for nothing, would he have walked if it'd been Soubry? Or was it a fit of pique at an ex Labour MP? Or, given the Labour spokesman's referwnce to bilateral meetings would he have fpund an excuse to walk as he doesnt want to engage with the other parties anyway?

You think May is/was going to “negotiate” at the meeting?  Seriously?

I think Ian Blackford, Vince Cable and Carolyn Lucas et al  were keen on getting something out the meeting.
