Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

Rees Mogg would be great as a Bond villain. There's a bit in here when I thought Neil was going to actually trouble him, comparing how he could cope with a hard Brexit compared to ordinary people, him moving his money abroad and shorting UK stocks and banks, versus ordinary people losing their jobs, but of course Neil bottled it when told off for being rude talking about ordinary people when they're all absolutely marvelous.

Labour making a right c**t of this. Complete own goal by him not to say tonight he will meet with her. He really is a moron

All he needed to do was turn up have a chat and then say she is talking a load of shite; not willing to listen etc and the moral high ground was his.

Just now, Hedgecutter said:

"Now is the time to stop putting self interest first"

Hours after the Tories and DUP voted in favour of a completely inept government simply to keep themselves in power / avoid losing their seats.

Jesus wept.

Ian Blackford after meeting her has joined Corbyn in writing a letter to her saying there's no point in talking again unless she takes a no deal off the table.

But at least he met her first so denying her an upper hand.  That is all Corbyn needed to do.

Shame that Corbyn still won't commit to a peoples vote.

So Corbyn’s demand to negotiate was to take No Deal off the table, what literally everyone that isn’t a Hard Brexit mentalist wants, and because May wouldn’t guarantee it, it’s Labour’s fault? Sounds pretty dandy.

Apparently the Chancellor is briefing business leaders that it will be ruled out so we can add that May is proven to be an utter charlatan within hours of pledging to work cross party.

The point is that he shouldn’t have given May rope to hang him with. Meet her, say that she isn’t willing to give in, claim the moral high ground. It’s simple stuff.

Corbyn as usual is missing open goal after open goal. Politically inept, I’m afraid.

It’s utterly insignificant. The demand was set out earlier and she refused to meet it despite apparently already giving in to it. Everyone who is sympathetic will say he shouldn’t waste his time on someone who has done nothing to deserve it and squanders the last shred of goodwill she has. Everyone who isn’t sympathetic will say he’s made her look the more professional and willing to cooperate. It’s as much a charade as your PMQs scorecard.
