I was being slightly facetious but genuinely, if Indyref has a chance, it is right now during this shambles of a Tory party.

If the snp still aren't confident they'll win they may aswell park any Indy ambitions for a generation because they'll never have a better opportunity.

They had a great chance when the stars aligned for them and still fekcud it up. Must be most Scots are happy being British.

Wonder what it is specifically about George Soros that right wing capitalists object to?

Soros isn't left wing.

No one who is left wing avoids $18 billion in taxes. No  one who is left wing accumulates the insane amount of wealth that results in that US tax bill!

Well he's a former Nazi collaborator and quite anti Semitic himself. So again, I'm waiting for why a dislike of him is anti Semitic or racism?

You made the claim, back it up.

Exactly. So why do right wing capitalists hate him?

Tony Blair ?

Tony Blair is about as left wing as he is popular in Baghdad.

No telling me to bet against the pound in 1992. And we are still alive and kicking.

If you'd listened to what he was saying at the time you have could done well out of it, if you had a wedge to gamble. He didn't keep it a secret.

Because he is trying to maintain the 20th century systems of exploitation that made his fortune. And they want to tear down those systems and replace it with something worse.

Neither are admirable.

Virtually no chance she will lose this vote.

Agreed, although this has nothing to with her popularity, or lack of - it has mainly to do with the fact that the majority of her party don't think that this is a good time to hold a leadership election which is understandable.
