It's astounding that some posters on here still feel that Corbyns going to somehow dawn his cape and save the day.

Whatever you think of the proposed Corbyn/May debate, the way it is being reported in the MSM is shocking.

Because Corbyn favours one format and May another it is being reported as ‘Corbyn running scared’.

The lack of impartiality by most of the MSM was laid bare during the Independence debate and has been highlighted again during the Brexit debacle.

All I've seen is them quoting Downing Street.

Corbyn is totally opposed to these free-lance superheroes who are unaccountable to the wider electorate and who undermine the credibility of an overstretched police force consisting of thousands of hard working men and women trying to make a living wage to feed their families.

Police numbers take a serious drop.  Hey who cares, when you can get one superhero to do the same thing, take all the credit and never asked to be paid!

Can't see Corbyn wanting to imitate any of them.

Who cares now? Can’t we just get on with it?
“It” relates to nothing substantial & is a mystery to where our future lies, but by f**k, we better get on with it.

Get on with what - A jump off the cliff No Deal brexit or a Theresa May fudge?

Wouldn't it make more sense just to stay put in the EU where we've got the best deal of all?

Ironically, the majority who are coming out with the "can't we just get on with it" line, actually have no idea or indeed care about Politics or Economics and would rather be discussing X factor and "I'm a celebrity", they're probably just scunnered that this "Brexit nonsense" is detracting from the coverage of their favourite reality TV shows.

Sad.................

Enter Miliband of the David variety with strings being pulled by the puppet masters Blair & Mandelson.

Here to save the day with the new "Peoples Party".....................

Yes that would be best.  I reckon the vast majority of MPs recognise that too.

Aye, it's 100% the EU's fault, absolutely nothing to do with 13 years of Tory rule.

Tory policies are baked into the single market, Lisbon and the Stability and Growth Pact. The Tories and the EU both implement neoliberalism and opposing one without also confronting the other is pointless.

It's amusing continually hearing how our future economy is completely dependent on EU membership but none of the negative aspects of the economy which have developed in the past 40 years have anything to do with it.

Like the German economy

Since the 90s the German economy has trended right. Schroeder brought in the Harz reforms which changed the labour marker and welfare system and Merkel has continued the trend. Germans are facing the same economic pressures and social stratification as people in the UK, we are just further down the line.

http://www.spiegel.de/international/business/inquality-and-wealth-distribution-in-germany-a-1190050.html

According to Spiegel the bottom 50% of Germans own 2.26% of the nation's wealth. The top 10% own 66%.
