How do you plan to get from there to Hampden in time for kick-off? If I finish work at 4 in Helensburgh, I should be OK, even factoring in time for food & beer.

You really haven't thought this through, have you.

Hope you enjoyed your trip, buddy.  Terrific result for Scotland.

Amber Rudd is telling the Brexiteers that it's May's Brexit or no Brexit, McDonnell's telling Remainers not to panic about no deal and vote down May's deal, because he'll come up with an alternative eventually.

Couldn’t tell you, mate. Seamus Milne hasn’t updated the group chat yet.

It's probably split into 37 micro-group chats and your in the wrong tendency for the update.

So he's not all bad, then....

Crawling for the DUP vote if the Tories can no longer command a majority. It's possible Corbyn could cobble together a minority Government without an election.

I wonder what the bribe deal will be this time?

As things stand those in Parliament who oppose May’s proposal include the SNP, Plaid Cymru, the Greens, the Lib Dem’s, Labour, the DUP, a large section of Tory Brexiteers and a fair section or Tory Remainers.

The only people who would prefer a ‘No Deal’ option are a relatively small number of hard line Tory nutters.

If the official opposition cannot use this reality to stymie May then Corbyn should be pilloried by his own supporters including his loyalists.

Aye but No Deal can happen without legislation being passed so the number in favour is irrelevant.

It could be prevented by a majority voting to either extend A50 or cancelling it, so numbers matter.

It is questionable whether there is a majority for either of those two outcomes.

Any both would surely involve a May resignation and a (likely fixed) Tory leadership contest.

If it was a choice between a hard brexit and extending A50 the latter would get a huge majority.

Guest Bob Mahelp

While its hilarious watching Rees-Smug being humiliated by over-playing his hand, it highlights what an inept coward May has been.

The strength of the extreme right-wing element of the Tory party has been shown to be nothing more than smoke and mirrors, greatly exaggerated by Brexit supporting newspapers.

If May had realised this from the beginning, we could have been heading for a reasonably sensible deal where we remained in the single market  and where the economic and social damage to the country was kept to a minimum.

If she's faced down the nutcases from the beginning, we could have had a (very) soft Brexit deal that may well have been acceptable to most.

Instead we've had 2 years of powerless ideologues controlling the direction we're heading in.

F*ck the Tories.
