Boris Johnson’s brother quits the government calling for a new Brexit vote.

I honestly had no idea that Boris Johnson had a brother who was an MP let alone in the government.

Me neither. I thought I had misheard when it was announced on the radio.

He appeared on Question Time back in April.

First questions from  the audience were "Where Boris? " and "Who the f*** are you?"

It must be a hard life.

”Who are you?”

”Jo Johnson.”

”Oh.”

”I’m Boris Johnson’s brother.”

”Aah.”

If there is another referendum Leave are going to have a difficult campaign being as all their campaign promises from last time have been blown out of the water.

Sounds familiar

You mean "Vote No to stay in Europe"?

Poll almost twice the usual size shows 54% - 46% in favour of Remain.

Considering all the negativity/reality about leave since the referendum and a lack of campaigning from leave, I'd say leave would be very happy with 46%. A new campaign plus the the undemocratic soundbites leave would trumpet if a new referendum took place, I'd imagine leave could easily win again.

But would they know what they were voting for?

If Leave won again and Scotland voted remain in equal or increased numbers then the independence cause would receive a massive boost.

Exactly the same was said prior to 2016 and the numbers barely changed.

The SNP's stance on a second EU referendum, whilst entirely right for Scotland, will come back to haunt them in the event of a yes vote. Particularly if it is tight which it probably will be.
