Yeah we love you Scotland but if you decide to leave were going to screw you over - that's abuse! :fishwallop

They'd be screwing themselves over. Just slap major tarrifs on the transportation of oil and see how quickly they knock that thing down. yXAbrOQ.png

Pure fantasy that has absolutely no relevance to my point about the "good cop, bad cop" nature of the No campaign in the IndyRef.

No border control, just a 20 mile thick wall with your ilk on the other side of it.

Berwickshire might not be the most exciting and vibrant of Scotland's counties but demolishing the whole county to build a wall seems a bit harsh on the locals

We'll do it from their side, that way we won't need to feel any sense of guilt.

We can't just build things in other peoples countries

On the other hand Westminster may decide to level Carlisle and replace it with a wide, dystopian expanse of barb wire, sniper nests and land mines, filled with radioactive mutant monsters

But it would be the first time the Tories had done anything serious to improve and regenerate a city in the north of England

Any posturing nonsense at the border is immediately made non sensical by the ridiculously one sided balance of trade in all the true essentials.

Fodstuffs, hydrocarbons, electricity and most of all......water.

I think most would be eager for it to be a smooth efficient  border with minimum hassle.

This is a disgraceful attack on the party who appointed a minister specifically for the north that works his hardest for the region.

Wait. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/sep/27/government-hid-details-of-northern-powerhouse-minister-james-wharton-visits-to-the-north

They need us more than we need them.

Let us leave with No Deal, they'll come crawling back.

Said like the drunk at the bar who has split up with his partner and is now sharing a bed sit with two other guys.
