Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

Becoming very clear now that we look set to leave the EU with No deal.

Theresa May won't be able to carry on as PM and a general election will be the inevitable outcome.

In that event I would like to see a coalition party formed from all who want to see us remain in the EU. That would be the only way the disaster of a No Deal departure could be avoided.

The election would be called on a basis of do you want to stay in the UK or leave without a deal. Surely to god the country as a whole would see sense?

Problem as I see it now is that even if there was a vote to overturn Brexit, a lot of international companies will still shift operations away from the UK anyway, through fear of another belly flop should the leave campaign get its arse in gear again. A bit like the independence referendum, the cat is out of the bag and the long term impact is inevitable. All you can do is hope to slow down the effects.

I'd still like to think that many of those who voted leave will accept that they were sold a Utopian concept on the basis of a concoction of lies. There will always be those who say they knew exactly what they  were voting  for - but did they?

Since moving to Lancashire, which voted by a substantial majority to leave, I've spoken to several who claim exactly that,  but when when you press them on the subject you soon discover that immigration concerns were upermost in their minds.

I'm quite happy with how things are going. Personally, I see two possibilities from a no deal brexit. The first is that the value of GBP continues to slide, my trips home see me increasingly wealthy and prosperous, culminating in me buying a castle as a holiday home, populating it with scheme dirties, and dying in the dungeon during a drink and drug fueled orgy over a bank holiday weekend. The second is that it will deliver independence for Scotland on a plate. I can handle either outcome.

You're sorted then mate - you might have a long wait at passport control but other than that it's ideal!

You'll be the talk of the Whitecrook steamie!

As opposed to being known as the Whitecrook steamer, which is an accurate description of most of my trips home.

Will be an interesting reply from the EU on May's "you deal with it" scenario on the Irish border

She is miles out her depth

She's now being guided by the Brexiteers  and they believe in the "they need us more than we need them" rhetoric. EU reply due shortly

Any jobs going at this castle?

Could anyone see an outcome that wasn’t hard brexit coming from all this?
Perhaps if we had people who weren’t monumental fucking morons negotiating then we’d have a chance of a norway style deal (but whats the actual point of paying the same losing control/influence anyway?) but that these fannies are so cocksure because of ole blighty that we are somehow entitled to a deal? Wtf? Why aren’t people asking questions about this? Is there honestly anyone with a braincell arguing that brexit will be a good thing now?

This was obviously going to happen when the very idea of 'Brexit' was first mooted years ago. It could never have gone differently.

The whole thing is a disgusting disgrace driven my horrendous people and their bitter racist ideals.

Not yet, but I assume at some point I will need someone who specialises in the disposal of dead schemie hoors. I'll keep you in mind. I expect that will be one of the UK's few growth industries in the next few decades.

Labour will probably support a No Deal Brexit because "they respect the result of the referendum".

I do not think Labour will support a no deal Brexit.

I’m even willing to have a wee bet on it if you fancy.

As long as you have plenty of those plastic bathtubs then I'm your man.

The EU have already stated the Irish border is non-negotiable. I'll be amazed if they change that stance

About halfway down that story it says the EU will allow Ireland to waive physical checks in the event of No Deal.
