Yeah, pretty decent show on the whole and I think the right people won. The tag-team match was good (and I hope (although doubt) it leads to a return of the heel version of The New Day) and Jericho-Zayn was a solid kickabout.

There were a couple of things that annoyed me though. The ending to the Cesaro-Sheamus match was such a cop out - it had been a good fight up until the pair of them piled into the crowd and the contest was called as a draw. This means we're going to have to watch another match between the two of them, Jesus Christ. The Roman Reigns-Rusev match was a bit dull and the ending to the main event was overbooked as heck. Far too much going on in there with ref bumps and interference and the like.

Bang average show, first half good but with some bad choices, last two matches poor. I'd go about 6.5/10

Hope the Kendrick move is just to start establishing heels in the cruiser's and not to carry on a TJP/Kendrick feud, I'd like to see the title picture move onto someone else in that division, so many great options.

At this point I'd allow Ceasro and Sheamus to do a big decider in the HIAC, whether they use it for a mid-card match or not though is another matter, but if they play on the title shot aspect it could work. They've had two cell matches on the ppv before so I can see it happening. Cesaro lucky he's not healing a broken neck this morning though.

Too much going on in the main event, which just lead to a shit finish, it really didn't need Stephanie just to usher in a ref, when they run down themselves in that situation nine times out of ten.

Anderson & Gallows are fair eating the pins up, dunno how they position them as any kind of threat again after another one.

If we are putting the shows head to head then SD win the first battle as Backlash was way better than this.

Saved Destruction In Kobe for watching after this so I could judge Clash on its own merits and still disappointed. But at least I get a good palate cleanser now!

Pretty mediocre at best PPV. Wanted Owens, Anderson & Gallows and Cesaro to win. Got 1 out of 3.

Cesaro v Sheamus result was frustrating. Done nothing but set up ANOTHER match between the two. I've mostly enjoyed watching their matches but now we're just going to have to watch them have another slobber - knocker. Hopefully they'll save the best to last. Cesaro is a great wrestler but he's been horrendously booked and used. Would like to see get him get a genuine push and title shot after this.

New Day's fued with Anderson & Gallows has been so tedious. Don't see where it goes from here as Anderson & Gallows now look weak after another loss. TBH this whole fued hasn't made them look particularly good since they've given them stupid skits like 'ringpostitis', retirement home specialists etc. It's such a waste considering how talented they are. But since there's no other tag teams for either of them to fued with I'm expecting more of the same. Surely next time though Anderson & Gallows come away with the belts and look like beasts when they do so?

They'll be demanding and getting a rematch tonight due to the interference, I reckon.

Also expect them to come away with the belts this time.

A lot of talk of Sheamus and Cesaro teaming up as a tag team. Probably just a rumour but I suppose it makes sense. I skipped through most of their bouts as I've no interest in watching the same match over and over again, regardless of how good they are.

Seen that as well. Personally I'm hoping for one more match in the cell. The good thing with Smackdown is that their midcard guys have gone against each other a lot and the guys are doing well because of it. Cesaro and Sheamus are finally finding that same groove I reckon.

As for Zayn losing to Jericho, I think it was just to fit the narrative of it being a good night for both guys.
